I had this song for two decades on tape. So I was very surprised when I heard the 'speeded up' version. Then I realised the tape had been recorded from a 45 single playing at 33. The same tape also had another dead solider by anti pasti. But check them both out slowed down. They really work.

@@Boilingfrogg yes. I'm not a die hard fan but I know something about this "guy". I know he is/was the singer of the Sex pistols and the singer of public Image limited. He is called John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten. I just wondered why he is singing these songs alone. And: After a lawsuit the other Sex pistols dont talk to him anymore.
@Boilingfrogg29 күн бұрын
@@Leo-qe3gl Well he is a "guy" I like to tell it like it is. OK fair enough He fought and lost in court not wanting pistols songs to be included in the series "pistol" but does that exclude him from singing the songs he wrote?

I'm watching this today for the first time (9th September 24) and to be honest seeing John performing solo with the original backing track is far more entertaining than watching /listening to members of the sex pistols with Frank Carter. They might as well have invited Cliff to do the vocals, 🤣
@nobbytart27Ай бұрын
You have got to be fucking kidding mate, have you been to see the proper Pistols with Carter? I strongly suspect not, as a 1st generation punk just seen them in Manchester and me and the other 2000 people there were blown away. Watching this shit of Lydon miming over a backing track is fucking embarrasing. Ask yourself why Lydon is "singing" in a pub to a backing track, take your blinkers off, he's abrasive, arrogant and self centred and thats exactly why he's in a pub miming on his own.
