Looks like actuating cylinders are only one way. Nice that you made it work without using double-acting cylinders. Pressure extending cylinder on one side depresses cylinder on the other side. Obvious when I think about it. Any advice for the novice wanting to replicate your project? Great work!

I installed a tee line between pressure and return line, with a check valve, fluid just circulates when you let off the gas. Simple solution.

I own the exact same digger, done under 800 hours every thing is broken except engine, im now deciding what to do with it possibly scrap it and buy a more reputable brand,(bobcat maybe) , cab mounts at rear have all snapped ,engine cover struts broke, engine cover latch/handle broke, Hand forward/reverse controls broke at pedals Stereo only goes if lights are off The lights are shit and all lasted a month at best Blade control knob top fell off Wiring shorted on seat mount and blew fuses , Seat mounts broken ,Wiring for beacon light craped out Fuel line perished within 2 years And now one final drive motor is on its way out ,50k plus gst, the most money I have wasted in my 43 years

gum is certainly a good test for it. I was hoping to find some ideas on adapting the thumb and quickhitch arrangement on my 12 ton digger to deal with massive rings of gum that then make them manageable for the normal wood splitter. The other overseas designs might struggle on the knotty and stringy hard gum.

Yield? speed? Is cost-benefit appropriate? does it compete directly with yanmar or are there big differences? thanks

For the Giggles - look at "Sunward" vids on YT - they're all a year or more older. None are current. None I found anyway.. I was behind a big low-loader with a Sunward 13 (ish - I didn't check) ton excavator on, today. could have been a 20 ton - was a big bugger.. Anyway, I was wondering what the current lead-time for Sunward parts was... what with China being, cough, kinda shut... Ish... Sorta.. if it breaks?
@getadigger Жыл бұрын
Umm.. Well.. My front window finally arrived.. I ordered it a year ago. 🙄.. However, yanmar and perkins running gear are relatively easy to get parts for.
