The air flows upward. To prove that you can keep that air filter out for a minute and turn the truck on and have the fan on by placing your hand in the filter compartment, you’ll feel the airflow upward.

Thanks for the step by step. It took me about an hour with my girlfriend. I bought a full assembly w/ motor off amazon worked great with this video.

this worked out pretty well. didnt need to remove the wheel all together. the only challenge was cleaning out the old debris (it gets kind of oily and sticks in pretty good) but a bit of screwdriver, paper towels, brushing it out got me good enough. probably saved a good 20 mins or more doing it that way. back on the road turning smooth and didnt have to worry about misaligning the column during reassembly.

did you just dropped it on sit and proceed like that all procedure?

Can you bypass the internal cooler? Like just loop it back? Was thinking of doing that on mine since it’s leaking at the fitting for the hard line. I’m just confused on is the internal cooler completely stand alone from the external cooler.

I had other comments too but all in all this is a great video, I especially like that you include the sizes of the fastening tools needed.

Too much grease in those pins caused that problem, especially if you can pull the pads off by hand

If the radiator side clips are facing the back DON'T PANIC. You can separate the front cooler from the radiator by pulling it off the plastic retaining clip below the fittings on the front. This gave me several more inches of working room and allowed me to get the clips back in since the fittings were turned so they came out toward the back
