ANOTHER WORLD premiered on May 4, 1964 on NBC.

Another World was never on radio. It vstarted on tv on May 4, 1971.

"The Guiding Light" was broadcast on both radio and television from 1952 through mid-1956, when the radio broadcast was discontinued.

Just to clear things up here, The Day Radio Soaps Died was November 25, 1960, when Ma Perkins, The Right To Happiness, Young Doctor Malone, and The Second Mrs. Burton were broadcast for the last time. For all things radio soaps and 1950's TV soaps, check anything written by Jim Cox.

This is very good, however you forgot to acknowledge another fact. In 1965, she helped break The Color Barrier when Billly Dee Willams and Cicely Tyson were the First African American Actors on The Soaps as Dr. Jim and Martha Frazier.

No Offense, but i'm not 100% satisfied with the opener. It's good, but it was fast, and I didn"t like how the very beginning kept on repeating itself. And the weird thing is, that is EXACTLY the same All My Children opening that"s on my MP3 Player!! Where did u get it?? The video was still good!! :)

You've already gotten feedback on the speed--the only other critique I can offer is you can't have the special guest star right before Erica--it makes it read like SHE's one of two special guest stars.

Great start! Only one error... "Another World" was never a radio soap -- it was originally conceived as a spin-off of "As the World Turns," daytime TV's first 30-minute soap (along with "The Edge of Night," both on CBS).

I like this concept. Only problem is the music. Sounds like you were trying to slow it down somehow and extend the intro. I use seperate software to edit audio. Try Audacity. There's a version for Mac. And it's free. Also as someone said, when you loop, try to stay on beat. I look for the part of the waveform I want to loop, then I zoom in really close for the first and last beats, hilite, copy, and paste. I like the table shots. Any chance you'll be re-releasing this?

I agree about it being too fast. The way the music loops in the beginning doesn't sound right, either. Other than that, I like it. It was a nice touch mentioning Eden Riegel as a special guest star.

I liked it too. Sort of remind me of the theme back in 94. I would slow it down some though. I wish it were character names instead though.

I like this, though the start is a bit jumping. It would be neat if it was also maybe a little slower and easier to read the names, but besides that, great work!
