Hi! Switched to zhiyun crane 3s. Before that, there was a ronin rs2. I balanced the camera and started calibration out of habit, at "step 1" the camera tilted to the side, turned off the steadicam. Is this normal? It was well balanced

I don't think you're picking up what we're putting down but that's cool - and if you still need those tickets, the scalpers haven't eased up at all to my knowledge.

@@lightshedphoto It's kind of long, but it's just my name and middle initials. Also, I have a separate email for work that's the same as the first, but ends in the word "work" because it seemed straightforward and efficient

hey good news you can likely break into 90% of the homes that people list for sale lol - this is one of the most common lockboxes we see.

Just had this issue scanned a building two hrs away from me uploaded it. Not on of the floors is missing. Turns out it’s misaligned just a tad bit. Now it won’t realign says I need more data smh

Ugh with that distance that's really annoying; we can say after about 5 years with the Matterport system that, fortunately, it's not a super-regular thing.

boring and hard to do, I managed to get 4 stages then the gimbel gone wild and reset it self... they should change this to automatic calibration . anyway thank you, will try again if that can fix paning issues I got on mine.

My motors engage when I move to step 3. Is there a button getting hit that I’m not noticing?

@@KHQ6promotions I did. I opened up the app, connected the gimbal, and went thru the calibration process that way and it was successful.

Never had that issue - I would try turning it off and re-starting the process.

Probably the Mode button is getting hit. Happened to me. Held it level with the desk (button off the desktop) and problem solved

If it gets stuck on a step, restart the process. It's honestly quite a pain, but doable.

That's odd, the motors should disengage after turning on and holding Mode.

How do you know that each step is completed?

When complete, the LCD will automatically show the next step. If you're on step 1, and the LCD still says step 1, it hasn't completed. If it gets stuck on a step for a very long time, try turning off the gimbal and re-starting the process (that has worked for me). It's a finicky process and I don't like having to do it either...

It can take a couple minutes - I cut that portion out of the video (so this isn't real time). Try and move the handle around slightly to get it to progress to step 2.

I've found that turning it off and starting over can fix this. Sometimes the program seems to get stuck - I got stuck on step 3 for a while, re-started and made it through all the steps very quickly. It could also be that changing position lengths of arms mid-calibration could have a negative effect (only a theory of mine). I would try not to alter those during the process just in case.

We use the same camera. Recently we are only able to get one scan. After the first scan and we move it about 3 to 6 feet it constantly warns that we need to scan again. It will not produce anymore scans regardless of what we do. It happens under all conditions. If i start over with new info entered it will also only do one scan. We only use it inside of houses or buildings. What could be causing the problem?

I think it's a problem with that first scan. Really look at the scan - does the room look correct? If the first scan dimensions are off, the second one won't match up. It could be the motor lagging, could need lubrication etc. Check out Matterfix on Facebook. You can send it to them and they'll do an in depth analysis.
