The most beautiful, ever. I would like to point out that the motorbike in the video is very noisy from its main mechanical parts, I wouldn't stress it like that, not before having balanced it, with all that noise.😢

I had one of the first ones in the UK in March 1986. A mate of mine had just bought a GPZ900R. I remember there was a bit of a dead spot in the power band around 3500-4000rpm, to get past the drive by noise limits apparently.

Used to race these 87-88 models great bikes!. They were actually better than the 89 bikes. In fact I switched back to them & they are every bit as good as the RC30 in production form at a pro level

Idle best at 1250 rpm It looks nice 😍 Engine seems dry. Footrest rubber not worn out. Shift lever, no scratches on side cover. Good catch. Still have it ? By now could have 80000 + km on speedo. I need a radiator NOW. Who got one for my 84 Shadow ?

I had a red one back in 1988, bought it second hand, 500 miles on the clock. I absolutely loved it. It looked amazing, was mental fast and was the top dog in its day. Got t boned by an old lady at a junction 😢.

Erstens ist der Motor aber immer warm, nie kalt. Zweitens drehe ich meine Motorräder nie in den roten Bereich und zu guter letzt, das Video soll kurz und kompakt bleiben.

One of the most epic bikes I own (have 23). I had a GSXR when these first came out and you could not find one…..people loved these beauties and as I can see, they still do! Keep her sunny side up! 🤙

Looks like it won't be long before the top end is going to need some work either rings or valve guides maybe.But i bet every mile of riding with that turbo have been worth it!

I have the same pipes on my 03 1000s, remove the silencers, takes 2 minutes, love the noise also I am better noticed in traffic.
