You are FAR too patient for an HGV driver. It's a good thing. That couple were dliberatly taking their time to unload their car, even though they were on not only a double yellow line, but twin yellow marking on the pavement too. Very poor parking!! Just use the truck bumper, that's what it's there for! LOL I'm kidding, I would never do that.....
@darrenwilliams292123 күн бұрын
I'm skip &hook driver , my lorry is relativley small compared to other class2 rigid , the councils around Wales can't afford to employ traffic wardens anymore so people just park where they want and even i get a problem with cars parked on double yellow lines in certain situations .

Double yellow lines are there for a reason , brain of fucking Britain.

At the moment I hate driving because so many roadworks and diversions. That’s me just driving the car. I Travel from Tyne & Wear to South Yorkshire to my lads . Spend time with them since my wife passed. Motorway closed from 8pm until 6am and in the Doncaster area more damn roadworks . See the bollards but no workmen. Must be doing the job invisibly lol. I often put a comment on when I notice a vid. Thanks for sharing.

It's unusual to see a female class 2 driver. In my experience both as a (former)class 2 driver and warehouse FLT operator I very rarely see women doing class 2 work. Also, is that a Volvo FL you're driving?
@toriajane69817 ай бұрын
I think it was a Volvo. I am not sure what the FL means. It was about 18T truck or just less. I only do the odd day for this particular company. I normally mainly do class 1 store deliveries for another company, although I sometimes do class 2 and 7.5t for them too. There are a several lady drivers there although as a percentage it is very low in comparison to the number of male drivers.

You need to link your phone to the truck for calls then no issues handsfree!
@toriajane69818 ай бұрын
My phone does link to Dezl truck satnav so I can talk hands free. I was not using it on this occasion though, as I find it more of a hindrance for local pallet drops. It is also worth noting that many haulage companies would still consider hands free calls unacceptable and just get rid of you.
