classy sounds all the way , - I am familiar with this album as being called "THE LETTER" with a deluxe gatefold on Capitol and more appropriate cover art than this drugged out illustration ! weird but of the time I guess - that's some early space-graff on the wall? 😎 when did they reissue this version ?
@Canadian_Cult_Classics
@Canadian_Cult_Classics 2 сағат бұрын
This was reissued in 1975 without the gatefold. The Brian Browne estate put the album out on CD with the 1975 artwork which I scanned for the thumbnail.

Definitely. The A-side would have been better suited for 1967. I think the B-side is better. I truthfully only wanted to post the B-side but have adopted a “both sides” mentality with my 45 posts.

Me too! They were a covers band, releasing a dozen albums in as many years. They’ve shocked me with a few. 1.) Their cover of “Lotta Love” is better than the Nicolette Larson one and possibly Neil’s 2.) They do a pretty strong version of Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” Both are on my YT channel.

Probably wont happen. Unidisc is a budget label, nothing extravagant ever when it comes to their CD's, for example. That's why they've only released the "Greatest Hits" by him. But maybe they will release them digitally. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

@@dm95422 My apologies, now I understand. So the first two albums, were on MGM and his last (from his prime period) was Gallery on CBC in 1984. The three are probably too pricy for them to licence is full. Just a hunch. Unidisc owns Attic Records which Street Ballet and Siren Spell were released on.
