People are far too cruel towards Cheryl. Yes she probably did only get into Girls Aloud because of her visual appeal, and no she’s not a great singer. But she’s stayed relatively grounded and humble despite everything she has achieved. Even while with Ashley Cole and having Bentleys and other flash cars rained down on her, she still felt uncomfortable and expressed a wish to just remain the same simple council estate Geordie girl that she was here. Even today she’s raising her son away from the limelight, with no desire to see him exposed to the same intrusion that the paparazzi put her through. Say what you want about Cheryl as a singer, but she’s at least shown she’s a good mother and still to this day, not resting on her laurels. She’s had her career, she’s clearly done with fame. There won’t be anymore solo albums, Girls Aloud reunions or appearances in stage plays. Cheryl is finished. She now just wants to live in peace with her boy. Fair play to her I say.

The way they talk about having an X factor these days is absolutely disgusting. You don't have to look like a Pussycat Doll or a Justin Bieber with an amazing voice to make it big. Sure, appearance matters, but look at Jedward or the Spice Girls. They were just ordinary girls with average voices. Nothing like Celine Dion or anything. So, this is actually nauseating to watch in 2024.

Being over the age requirement, he still gain the experience and memento of being a pop singer. If any male singer wanted to be in an band they would give the gratitude to Pete Waterman, he was indeed like a father to all the boys. the sad expression from the judges faces says it all

Cheryl is just completely genuine. Open and honest about her background, humble, pretty, has passion for music, charisma, determination...im proud of her for working on bettering her voice and she is an AMAZING dancer. Im happy what she has become because she has a good heart, not all pretty girls are stuck up shes just being herself.
