How did you connect the speaker to the organ? Are you using a switch or a football to turn the Leslie on?

Hi. Do you know if this Ring Modulador is similar to the one used by John Lord? Do you know if John Lord used it all the time or just on some solos ? Thanks

How did you connect the Hammond to the pedal? and how do you prevent the output of the organ distorting the pedal?

Hammonds should have built in ringmod in my opinion

Sounds really good! The idea of using a ring modulator on something that produces mainly sine waves is super cool, as the frequencies produced aren’t nearly as complicated as something like a synth sound with lots of harmonics; with the Hammond you can basically hear every sideband and you can get really nice metallic bell-like tones that way

super cool video pal . i built a ringmod in the 90s and didnt mind you speaking french at all , hip enough to see whats going on with 3 slide pots and two toggle switches . your playing is spot on lord btw . i am guessing you can do a lot more than just that . super cool .

Shouldn't the mic be focused solely on Leslie's horns and not the bass drum to get the precise sound?

Cool, Child In Time is a project for my sister's birthday (she loves Deep Purple). I have the mp3 files without the organ to play over the rest with my Viscount Legend Live and I search the settings to get the perfect sound... Thank a lot.

Thanks for the demo. I think it worth to notice that the Maestro Ring Modulator is the first musical device created by Tom Oberheim and released on the market. This is after this instant success that Tom Oberheim crafted all the wonderful synths with his own brand Oberheim.

Right on Mr. HammondLord! And like Dan & Aaron asked below: how do you get that phatty OD tone? I play guitar mostly (going back to high school in the 70s) and always kinda wondered why several guitarists in big (classic) rock bands used Leslies...now I know! It's a different but big enveloping tone as opposed to say a Marshall valve amp & typical 4 x 12 cab...

You hit the proper notes, but I definitely mis the big reverb in your sound. Personally I use a Behringer DR600 for this, which has a pretty good spring reverb sound in it and is very affordable. Keep up the good stuff!
