i got the matcha latte switches because of a few sound tests i heard, and the factory lube is horrible, it feels really scratchy, sounds horrible and not marbly like this video. do not buy

The clacky sounds comes really from the double shot keycaps. This board feels solid and is very nice to type on. I am going to try some different keycaps to see how I can change the sound.

This video made me get the KiiBOOM Matcha Latte Switches. Hopefully they sound as good as yours do.

I definitely like this keyboard. I bought a premade last year and it was great. So when Black Friday rolled around and the Kit version of this board was on sale, I bought it. To it I added some Akko Creamy Yellow V3 Pro switches and some XVX PBT keycaps. So Overall it came in at just about $85, plus my time to assemble it. I have to say I'm pleased with the results.

Put these in a GMMK pro and tested with modding the board and found that the best mod for a big difference in sound is the tape mod it made mine a lot poppier and deeper a little less clacky.

Are you able to customize the side light RGB using the software? Or just limited to the preset colors through the FN keys?

Today arrived mine. Is my second keeb and is amazing. It feel the value by its weight. I choose the moon white version. Probably i will change the keycaps for a full white set. In the meantime i am really enjoying this piece. As you mentioned, the switches are nicely lubed. Probably would need some adjustment on some of the stabs but for the price is a steal. I am glad that nowadays, medium quality keebs have more affordable prices like this one. BTW you could add more light for your videos.

One of those switches that feel kind of trash on a switch tester but are great to type on. Middle bumps are so easy going.

Omg I finally found a video with a longer typing test of just the combination I've found the most pleasing to me in other videos where people have had all the possible combinations. I think I'm gonna buy this combo for my next build!

I get a box of each of these today. 15$ for 35 isnt bad upon Looking at the specs. Especially if the tolerances are as tight as the specs imply. I'm low key hoping I can frankenswitch the matcha with an orange stem (two I can choose from) and a purple top housing (kailh's purple potatoe since it's POM)
