What was the university's response when you informed them about your new visa situation, their response, etc. Thank you!

There was no issue switching, when I told them, all they did was update my record and take me off the international student list as I was no longer under them. However, due to the new immigration laws, you can no longer switch till you’re done with your studies I was told, whether it affects the global talent visa I can’t 100% say.
