How is the fan noise compared to Pecron when charging and powering devices off AC?
@KYHill-billy11 күн бұрын
The fan noise is actually very quiet. When I hit around 700w in the middle of the night when there is no noise I can hear it. But again, that's when everything is hitting high wattage at the same time which hardly ever happens. But at its loudest you will sleep right through it.

I personally have Newpowa 9BB Cell 200W Monocrystalline 200 Watt 12V Solar Panel High Efficiency Mono Module RV Marine Boat Off Grid (200W New)-$399 on Amazon. They have been a great brand & very efficient. But one of them are a 200 Watt Solar Panel 9BB Monocrystalline Cell, High-Efficiency Module PV Power Charger 12V/24V Solar Panels for Homes Camping RV Battery Boat Caravan and Other Off-Grid Applications (200W) & has worked very good & cheaper in price-$166.99 with a $40 coupon on amazon right now. I posted links below. To be honest the $166.99 have worked just as good as the newpowa. Depending on how many watts you're looking to get to charge, because of the solar voltage go for a 200w panel & not a 100w panel. I bought (3) 200w to make a total of 600w. 3-panels should be enough, or you will go over the voltage limit. I hope this helps. a.co/d/06DqB9VV a.co/d/02xyT2qb

The EPS function is lame in that when power is depleted you must be physically present to manually touch the AC power button when power to the home is restored. So if you use it to power your fridge/freezer while leaving the home as a backup power supply, the device will not resume power to device(s) unless you are there to detect power being restored and tap the AC power button.
@KYHill-billy20 күн бұрын
When the DABBSSON gets to 0% & shut down in UPS mode it shuts off AC & DC outlets as well. But now this happens with any power station. Well at least with all brands & watt size I own. if any power station runs to 0% without any electricity from power grid powering it then it has no choice but to shut down. But again, that's any power station that I know of.

ciao Fossibot F3600W accetta i miei pannelli solari rigidi da 410W l'uno sul tetto ? Grazie per i tuoi fantastici video
@KYHill-billy22 күн бұрын
You need to look on the back of your solar panels or look them up online & see what the (VOC) # IS. It should be something like 22.08 or 21.03, something to that effect. Then multiply that number by how many panels you have. Let's say you're (VOC) # IS 21.08 & you have 3-panels! So, you would multiply 21.08V X 3 = 63.24V. So, the FOSSIBOT excepts 120V. As long as you do not exceed the 120-Volts you are good. And the same if you are using AMPS in parallel & not in series. Hope this helps & message me for anything else.

Have you seen the new Pecron E3600LFP that is coming out in the middle of next month (July)? How would this compare to that one? I did purchase the 600LFP and 1500LFP thanks to you. I can't thank you enough for your reviews. They are amazing solar generators for sure.
@KYHill-billyАй бұрын
Well, I do like the Pecron brand. But this is my opinion since you asked! The Pecron E3600LFP has 3072-WH / 3600-W / 7000-W SURGE. The Fossibot F3600 has 3840-WH / 3300-W / 6600-W SURGE. Far as me I give the Watt Hours to Fossibot but the watts & surge to Pecron. As you know I look at watt hours because that's how long run time you will get out of the unit. So, if you are looking for something to run tools or use around high surge/peak items I would go with the Pecron. But if you're looking for a home back-up then I'd go for the Fossibot. Far as build quality I have to give it to Fossibot. And either is very heavy, so wheels are needed & again that goes to Fossibot. I myself having the Pecron e600, e2000, e1500 I would get the Fossibot especially since at this very moment they are both on sale for $1599 on their own website. But we all have to make our own choices. I hope this helps & thank you for supporting the channel. I truly appreciate it.

Does it have a dual configuration to run in tandem? and can you draw power while charging it with solar panels?
@KYHill-billyАй бұрын
Yes, it has passthrough charging, which means it can run & power devices while being charged with solar. The FOSSiBOT F3600 portable power station has an impressive 3,840Wh capacity, making it an ideal companion for outdoor camping, road trips, RVs, and home backup1. While it doesn’t inherently support dual configuration, you can still use multiple FOSSiBOT F3600 units in parallel to achieve a similar effect. Here are some options: Parallel Connection: Connect two or more FOSSiBOT F3600 units in parallel using their AC outlets (Daisy Chain). This allows you to combine their capacities for increased power output. Keep in mind that the total capacity will remain the sum of the individual units (e.g., two F3600 units will give you 7,680Wh). So, you can plug one into the other & when the power depletes from the first one, before it shuts down it then transfer the workload to the second one. It is actually UPS mode & it will start & run till depleted. Hope this helps.

Just received our OUPES 2400 via Amazon and the OUPES store page a few weeks back ( and not a third-party seller). I know it’s not a mega five but we are having the same problem now. At first it started with 27% remaining on the display and now we are having the E002 error code show up in the low mid and high 30 Percent range. We have tried to contact them through Amazon, but have not received a response but first I am going to try what other others have suggested and drain this completely. My only question is how do I do that when it’s throwing the error code before I get to zero? I assume that what people are saying is that the 27% or whatever I’m receiving and that others are receiving when they get the error code is really supposed to say zero? Wouldn’t that mean that the batteries completely depleted already? I’m just asking so I can try to figure this out but still avoid any time waste on things people already know won’t work. We have taken it from the error code up to 100% 2 to 3 times but the percentage where the error message activated seems to just be climbing. Thank you for any help
@KYHill-billyАй бұрын
So, If the error code is coming up before you can reach 0% then there is a problem. Try this, charge it up to 100% & then plug a small electric heater or hair dryer, something that can hit up there around 1000w give or take. Run it down to zero. But if it doesn't let you & or a error code pops off then you need to contact OUPES at this e-mail [email protected]. And I will highly recommend that you & only if you can, video & catch the screen as it turns & changes over to error code if possible. But it sounds exactly what my old one was doing. But I will say I had no trouble getting a new replacement. When you e-mail them send them your order# & where you bought it, & any info you might need. I hope this helps & please let me know how it went. EKP.
@MattW-rx8ipАй бұрын
Wow. Thanks for that email address and your response. We were able to record it twice or so flipping to the error code with very low wattage (50 or so) output. I have tried to do as they suggested in one troubleshooting for him, which was to bring it up to 100% and then unplug it and then wait for the fan to kick off and then plug it in again.. Three times. Supposedly this is reprogramming the battery or something but right now we plugged in a coffee maker that pulls about 1000W and are attempting to run it down to “0” on the display. I will keep you updated on what happens as well as the response I get from the company. Thanks again for your help and advice.
