What do you think about your busa for a long trip like 2hrs or more? Would you do it assuming weather was good? I want one like yours one day, i have a zx6r which i would keep, but looking for something for touring too.
@whiskeytangomoto11 ай бұрын
I ride around on it for 4-6 hours at a time and I’m fine when I get off of it. However if you have the money I’d say buy an additional bike just for long trips. Lots of older cheap bikes out there that are way more comfortable than a busa. Weather really doesn’t bother me and on long trips you just can’t let it stop you. If you worry about the weather it will keep you from having the motorcycle adventure you deserve as a human.
@nickn793911 ай бұрын
@@whiskeytangomoto yeah good point on the weather, and something sport touring that looks stylish like an fj1300 works too, but the busa can be modded so much which is a plus. I will be waiting patiently for your next videos!

Have to say, the sound came out awesome and would sure make people take their eyes off the phone or gps to see where the sound is coming from. For the running cooler, look into getting Ivanized, it is a plus for the bike. Had my 2018 done and worth every penny. Ride safe and enjoy your ride.👍

Did this help with the engine temps ?
@whiskeytangomoto2 жыл бұрын
Engine temps seem a little lower. Bike got engine ice for coolant around the same time though so hard to say. I will say the heat coming off the pipes seems dramatically less so you feel a lot less heat on your legs while sitting or going slow.

@whiskeytangomoto2 жыл бұрын
Only tack on mine was on the nut. The bolt is removable without grinding the tack off.
@dylanyoung66542 жыл бұрын
@@whiskeytangomoto yea from everything I have seen no one has had the tack on the bolt itself but I have a tack on both bolt and nut. I did not realize the bolt was tack welded at first and accidentally stripped it, so I might have to drill out the bolt now
@sawyerbranson83462 жыл бұрын
Mine is the same way…both nut and bolt, did you ever get it out ?
@dylanyoung66542 жыл бұрын
@@sawyerbranson8346 I ended up getting it out after just drilling the bolt out, about halfway through drilling it out the weld snapped so I was able to unscrew the bolt with some needle nose plyers and kept the nut untouched. I did have the weld significantly weakened by grinding it down, otherwise I highly doubt it would have broke. Once I got it out, I went for a ride and oml its so loud it hurt my ears when giving it gas, and got multiple neighbors outside to investigate.. It did sound amazing at times. I ended up drilling a hole in the bottom of the baffle and reinstalling it with a new bolt.

Great video, thanks so much. Just a heads up for anyone else watching: Don't use a 5/32". This is european. Every outside the USA uses the metric system. A 4mm or a 4.5mm probably would have been the right choice.
@whiskeytangomoto2 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked it. 5/32 is basically the same as 4mm. 5/32 = .156 of an inch. 4mm = .157 of an inch. I keep things simple so to me “if it works, it works.”
