THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS, saw Jeremy in london (mentally, i'm still there) but couldn't afford train tickets to spontaneously go to Cambridge, this is my favourite song by him ❤️❤️❤️

Broadly speaking, anything post-Moon era Who for me is of almost no interest--albums, tours, general behavior. But this performance, at least, really capture the who at their snottiest. They're old punks here, but still vital old punks. There's no nostalgia, it's some old lions letting lose. Good stuff.

That Pete what's his name ain't much on the six string, but he sure plays a mean tamborine ... especially when he's all coked up ...

Kenny was great in 1979, but he wasn't great on tour around 1982. But he's not solely responsible. Roger's voice wasn't very good and Pete wasn't motivated.

Good show. Kenny Jones is excellent. Pete may be out of his mind but he makes it work that way, and Daltry is always in fine form. LONG LIVE ROCK…

Kenny Jones is rock solid maintaining the rhythm. I just like more fills and the craziness of Moon’s playing better.

Very Under appreciated time in the Who's career. They were still extremely powerful and potent... perhaps more so than they had been for a while, up to that point.

@stevefaure4153 ай бұрын
I love Kenny. It wouldn't have been the Faces or Small Faces without him. He had an impossible job filling in for Moon. So much of the Who's unique sound was because of Moon's chaotic non-linear bashing. Minus him they became an occasionally-pretty-good nostalgia act instantly.
