Beautifully bike! I had a few questions. Is the fender eliminator the kit from ktown? And is there a place for the license plate? If so does it swing while you ride?
@muradbyunus4 ай бұрын
Really good eye. It is! Not sure if it's still in production? I will note, that since I've posted the video, some of the LED's have dimmed, not sure why. The license plate mounts directly under the light with two bolts and I haven't had an issue with it coming off. It's very sturdy. Note: I haven't used a license plate holder, just the plate itself. Hope this helps! 👍

thank you for the insight! And did you need a load equalizer or any other attachment to add the rear fender eliminator since you are using led front lights?

Great sound! I'm looking for something like that for my V7 2021. Can you tell me what you've done to make it? For instance, what muffer is that? Have you done something else to get this sound? Cheers!
@muradbyunus3 жыл бұрын
Sure thing. So the company that does these pipes is called GuzziTech. They're a company based in California. If you bought a V7 this year, you probably got the 850cc, which is an upgrade from the model you see here. I'm not sure if GuzziTech has made pipes and a tune for your bike yet, but give them a look, and I would recommend joining their forum and looking at their FAQ. There's a lot of Guzzi enthusiasts there.

@muradbyunus4 жыл бұрын
Hi Jacopo, I got them from Guzzitech. Here's a link: gtmotocycles.com/collections/exhaust/products/gt-motocycles-ss-v7-gp-megs I also got the ECU flashed. If you're not near Orange County, you'll have to order this kit and flash the ECU (you'll also need a PC computer to get the file and run the program): gtmotocycles.com/products/gt-motocycles-v7-v9-ecu-re-flash-tool While pricey, I think this is how the bike SHOULD sound. I am totally biased, but there's very few twin cylinder bikes that sound as good as mine. I get compliments about it everywhere I go.

Me too. Probably won't be trading up for it, but I'm happy Guzzi is giving it a bit more power. Ideally 75-80 hp would have been better, but maybe one day... With the changes I made on this bike: lighter exhaust and remap-- it feels drastically different than stock, and it's perfectly fine for some twisties and city riding.

Which mirrors are these ? Look amazing, better than the OEm ones in terms of seeing what is behind you?
@muradbyunus4 жыл бұрын
So I THINK these are the Rizoma Reverse retro. Pricey, somewhat impractical because I have them underneath the bars as opposed to being up top, but I like the look of them in the downward position. They have better visibility upright. The OEM have better visibility as far as I can remember because they're a bit larger, but honestly, I got used to my setup in like a week. Having the mirrors underneath opens up front visibility, and in my eyes, changes the lines of the bike so it looks more sporty. I'm also very vigilant with head checks, etc. when I ride. Lastly, I have Rizoma bar end signals. In order to accomplish this, you have to have a custom fitted bolt-- Rizoma does not make this, so I had a shop make a couple on a lathe. If you're not wiring saavy, the upgrades add up. Hope this helps?

Hey man did you get a different bucket for that headlight?
@muradbyunus4 жыл бұрын
Hey Louis, I did. I found this link on reddit that was helpful and found a halo light and bucket on Amazon (www.reddit.com/r/MotoGuzzi/comments/b6e9dn/today_i_confirmed_my_thought_that_if_you_swap_the/), also a user below recommended this light from MG Cycle, which does not require buying a different bucket (www.mgcycle.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5025) Though, to be honest, I've never tried that light, so might require some research-- maybe even contact them to see it on a bike?

@louisvaldivia92604 жыл бұрын
@@muradbyunus yeah any headlight swap would need it since guzzi has their design. Plus you gotta flip and swap the mounts since the aftermarket bucket is much wider. It’s not a big deal tbh. The OEM headlight and bucket are junk so it makes it worth it

This is basically what I want my bike to sound like, ha! Did you do the headers too? Is this their "full SS exhaust" offering? I'm still breaking in my brand new V7 Stone S, looking to head down to Guzzitech after the first service. Want to cure the snatchy throttle with their ECU remap and take the bike out of "lawnmower mode" with their pipes.
@muradbyunus4 жыл бұрын
Just the cans actually. I'm wondering if I labeled the video wrong. Also got it remapped after the cans were put on. Not the full system. The headers are the stock ones. My other buddy has an original V7 and he got the 2 to 1, which sounds nice too, it's a bit louder you can imagine. I believe it was a full system.
@ams9144 жыл бұрын
@@muradbyunus Wow, well just the new cans is a night and day difference sound wise. Too much volume is definitely not something I want, but the performance gains and weight reduction of their headers is appealing. Will have to consult Todd, I guess.

Is the headlight from Guzzi tech as well? Does it draw more or less power? I just bought a V7II Café and I'm terrified of riding it in the evening...
@muradbyunus4 жыл бұрын
The headlight gives me almost 2.5x visibility from the stock headlight (which is pretty bad quality if I'm honest). This bike is a 2017, so it is not the new Night Packs, which I think, look better. The headlight I bought to replace the stock one is from Amazon believe it or not. And it felt like better materials, even though it was $65.00 USD. I learned that if you swap the brackets, you can fit certain lights. I looked it up on this post from reddit: www.reddit.com/r/MotoGuzzi/comments/b6e9dn/today_i_confirmed_my_thought_that_if_you_swap_the/
@muradbyunus4 жыл бұрын
*Also, almost 85% of my riding is at night on fast freeways in Los Angeles. It's waay better visibility than the stock light, and our freeway speeds can get up to 85-90mph (136-144kph) across several types of terrain.

Man, thank you. I appreciate the compliment. I did. Guzzitech sells a kit you can buy and they send you the remaps via email. You just need to connect it to a PC and alligator clips of the console to the bike's battery. Or if you live in SoCal, you can do that at his shop. I have the console since I'm gonna update my filter and that requires a remap also. Totally worth it.
