I think a nightclub theme 80,s electronic would be a huge hit. Playing only dance mixes from the 80,s

Was there on Friday, what a night. I know we say it all the time, but he really is like a fine wine and his voice has never sounded better. Rest of the band were brilliant as well. Standouts, All the Pictures, which I've wanted to hear for years, Soul Wandering, what a song, Village, another corker, Jumble Queen, ditto, and Out of the Sinking, another favourite. Can't wait for the next installment 🙂

Michael Chambers AKA Boogaloo Shrimp AKA Turbo from the movie Breakin’ and Breakin’ 2:Electric Boogaloo said MJ took the moonwalk from him. He said MJ asked him to dance, MJ recorded him and the next thing he knew MJ did it on TV.
I'm gonna put this man on my bucket list. Because he sounds lovely and so down to earth.

Great interview girls, I get what he was saying about the late 80's manufactured music to a degree but on the same coin in 1987-89 you still had many artists/bands that were not that were still making great music with singles/albums like: The Cure, The The, The Cult, Big Country, Level 42, Deacon Blue, Wet Wet Wet, Suzanne Vega, Alison Moyet, Erasure, Depeche Mod, Duran Duran, The Mission, Sade, Sting, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Mike and the Mechanics, The Sisters of Mercy, Echo + the Bunnymen, etc Would love for you to do a interview with the great Peter Gabriel???? 🙏🏻

@@mikekaraoke yes absolutely agree. There was still some great music at that time 👍 We’d LOVE to interview Peter Gabriel 🤞😊

@@Choose80s Exactly, so I don't think that was a good excuse/reason to leave the music bizz! But he didn't leave in 1988 as he did a solo album in The Netherlands in 1989! Peter Gabriel is such an icon, so maybe 2025 then???? 🤞🏻😊

I saw Edwin Starr at the Locarno, B,ham, must have been towards the end of the 70's. He and the rest of the band were late and so they went on stage dressed as they were when they arrived. He apologised for being late but promised 'a hell of a show' and so it was.. Part of a soul all dayer if memory serves.
