This is literally the next camera I am going to pick up. Fun fact Magnum Photographer Alex Majoli used this camera and the C-5060 when documenting the conflict in Afghanistan.

Hi Max! Great review! Wonderful shots! I been using some of the older bridge cameras and enjoy not having to carry a bunch of lens. I even shot a client job using one and the photos that were chosen were from the bridge camera. Used a point and shoot, DSLR and a bridge for the shoot and the bridge was the most consistent. The gear never defines you as a professional, the creativity does! Always great content and enjoy your positive attitude! Thanks for sharing! I think those triangles on the poles are to indicate the end of the pier. When the tide comes in the remains would be submerged!

@@CameraNostalgiaClub Bridge cameras have challenges and I know that they are limited, but sometimes the enjoyment is found in an all in one set up. I use a Pentax X-5, I have a few early Kodak CCD sensor cameras, don't consider them bridge, but more like bridge zoom camera.

Just subbed bro, im an aggressive inline skater and we do look for this nostalgic old school look. just come across our lasses old Sony cam, this exact one and thought id give it a go and see what things look like. how does it charge? a separate batter charger block?

Love that! used to do a bit of skating myself had a pair of gold USDs 👌and yeah you can can get a plug in charger or a charging dock to stick the battery in 📹🤝

Seeing these beautiful and moody photos makes me really eager to try it out. Just got this camera from my uncle, and it’s in great condition except for the SD card. The card isn’t damaged or anything, but it’s 64 GB, which doesn’t seem compatible since the camera’s an older model. So, I’ll look for a 2 GB SD card, they’re probably cheap. Anyway, thanks for showing this!

Hi, I have a Sony DSC W35 digicam, and I'm new to the vintage imperfect photography. I heard that the Canon Ixus70 is the most preferred and most famous vintage cams. Am I missing out on it???

Trying to look for an old digicam as a daily pocket cameranand your channel is so useful! I'm thinking on Exilim S2 or Canon SD850 IS, Canon SD1000 but the Sony you shows here seems good to go too. Would be nice to see this cameras here and beside that, what do you think about those models? I'm not sure on what to choose because I don't want high quality pictures and the retro looking looks great to me, but not sure if for example, with the Exilim, the quality is going to be that low that photos are going to look like rubbish

The Canon SD850 is top notch! If you’re able to get your hands on that then I’d go for it but the other two options are equally as good in terms of what you are looking for 📸🤝

My mother decided to give me a similar camcorder today, only it was a Panasonic HDC SD9, which of course was better than the SD1. In short, cool in one word. I was in seventh heaven. I'm from Russia and I'm 17 years old.

@@CameraNostalgiaClub By the way. One of the coolest and so to speak “sophisticated” camcorders is the Panasonic AG-HMC154ER. And this is not surprising, since this is a professional camcorder.
