Don’t forget that those of us who live in the southern hemisphere celebrate Christmas in summer. The commercial take over of Christmas means that we have Christmas cards here with snow and winter scenes. It’s ridiculous to think that Christmas is all about warm cozy fires and hot Christmas dinners. We have bbq and picnic lunches on Christmas Day. We go to the beach. We swelter in the heat in places where the coast is far away. Jingle bells is a song that talks about sleigh riding. Most of the kids who live here have never seen snow. So again this documentary is about those who live in the northern hemisphere and where most of the holiday money is spent. I wish Christmas was celebrated as a Christian festival and not all this other rubbish.

I remember this documentary and the narrator on the same documentary about Halloween. As a matter of fact, some of the music is from The Nutcracker. But I think the people of this documentary should know that there's 5 movies to deal with Christmas. And the 5 movies are 1. The Santa Clause, 2. Mickey's Christmas Carol, 3. The Muppets Christmas Carol, 4. Home Alone, and 5. Fantasia( for Phil Crowley this movie has A night on Bald Mountain and for Christmas the Nutcracker Suite).

Solstice is the shortest day of the year Dec 21 and Dec 22 is the celebration of the return of the Sun (longer days return) ,re-birth of the Sun.

Yes I am! Upgraded at this point. Almost done with a full blown music room built from the ground up for Klipschorns. Cork walls, skyline diffusers etc. Stay tuned!

Thank you! Using an Ortofon Cadenza Black into an Ortofon ST-90 Step Up Transformer. From there, into the ModWright PH 9.0 Phono Stage w/ Telefunken 6922 NOS tubes. Fed to a Hegel P20, recorded using RCA out from Hegel P20 pre-amp to a FocusRite Scarlett. GoldWave Software ripped at 352.8Khz. All Custom Silver Rca Cables. Turntable is a VPI Scoutmaster with upgraded feet, Heavy weight clamp and Periphery Ring. Using SOTA ECLIPSE package with motor. For the amps, Sophia Electric 300B mono blocks with TAKATSUKI TA-300B Triode Vacuum Tubes driving Klipschorn AK5s with Fostex T500AMKIII Super Tweeters and 2 REL T9i's subwoofers.

@@sondrechr.birkeland9244 They are just connected to the speaker terminals, there is an attenuator box in between the tweeters and the speaker as well. And in short, no lol. The phasing issues it creates is worse off. At least this is a no, if not using DSP. DSP with horns( I have Klipschorn cornerhorns) are game changing. Get that first.
