anyone who owns the board can answer this? and vrm thermals if they can measure them.

Don't put the Ryzen 79xx CPUs in it. The board is hard limited at 128W / 130W from factory. Good for Ryzen 7 7800X3D at best.

@@amdhousepk idk someone on pcmag (google it with the board name) used it with a 7950x, but they did say to use sufficient cooling.

​​​@@tanmay5570 Yes, we had 7900X which we put on it. Board throws power haphazardly on 65W Ryzens and puts them under 110-120W load hence they hit 90C under load (while their actual hard PPT cap is 90W). We are limiting PPT via PBO in our retail systems for stable thermal performance. It's not plug & play. Plus side is, the VRMs do not overheat or throttle even at 130W power draw, high chance they can handle UpTo 180W easily due to big heatsink.

A minha é a Icraft Z790 Wifi. Era para sincronizar com IA e com as músicas que escuto, mas não presta nem para deixar o rgb com uma cor só. Fica piscando tudo descoordenado igual doido.

Faz 2 dias que chegpu essa placa. Comprei na Terabyte. To pensando em devolver.

@@oilulu93 para ouverclock é um lixo, você aumenta a frequência da memória e da tela preta, tem que usar a frequência base 4800 MHz. E não tem suporte algum. Até hoje o fabricante não respondeu..não recomendo.

Did you turn off the write protect in the bios menu?

I tried everything and followed the instuctions, still could not update to the latest bios. It kept saying rom file information does not match the system bios.

@@mistermix3516What file were you using? All you had to do what put the efi folder on the flash drive and boot it from f11? Did it give you an option to update it anyway even while throwing the error?

Hey man! Got two issues with this board. Got 50+ units in stock. 1. Bios update is impossible... Even if I boot into UEFI and manually force AFUEFI64 for bios update, it simply won't budge. 2. Board has really haphazard CPU power delivery. It dumps 105-110W on 65W ryzens and CPUs heat up like crazy, on slight load processors hit 80C+. If I manually force PPT/EDC/TDC, processor drops to lowest power state and just runs at 500MHz. Tried Ryzen 7500F, 7700 and 7600. Samne story. It dumped 130W into Ryzen 9 7900 (non-X 65W) and processor was barely keeping steady at 89C. Can't do anything in PBO. If I even so slightly touch curve optimizer, the system won't post.

@@cryovaced Yo that's mad, I've not had that issue with the power delivery, I've used 2 board. I'm not sure what the solution is tbh, you seem way more advanced than me in this area, seems like you have a shop if you have 50+ boards.
