This felt so special for me, I'm playing the same D&D campaign for 3 years by now, me, some friends and my fiancée as the DM. I play as a cleric paladin who seaks the path of the life, her Goddess is Demeter, she is a dwarf. The whole thing is, her mother died on her birth, so this song seems to me as if she was singing for both of her mothers about the big bad that she'll have to face in the end, and she'll be bringing someone home, since she found a lover during her journey. The whole song fits perfectly for her, even the pacing, the lyrics, she is a sweet young lady, but also strong and brave, I love my Eadrom! Edit: I just listened again the song, and noticed the part where she says "I'll follow his scent ma, I would do it blind", the interesting thing is that this chracter of mine is blind since she was born!
