Please accept this as the compliment it is intended to be - and offered by someone who watches altogether too many fly tying videos - this is the most underrated fly tying channel on KZbin by a wide, wide margin.

This means a great deal to me. I always worry about making sure I add something unique and valuable to the fly fishing and tying community. You don't hear often how it is being seen. We are small, but we believe in what we are doing and providing to the community. Thank you for taking the time to watch and support us, it means a lot knowing you take that time to watch and comment.

Very nice, maybe some rubber legs in it , I like legs for a little more action on my bugs , but I’m sure that will work 👏🏻👏🏻🪰🎣
@MoonlitFlyFishing10 күн бұрын
I like to keep it simple and let the material do the work, but rubber legs are a fun option for sure.

I thoroughly enjoy your fly tying. I am the fly tying chair for my fly fishing club and I have a question. with the understanding that I give you full credit, would you mind if I used some of your flies in our club newsletter? I would also give them your link. it would probably get you more viewers. I will not use your flies without your permission. John

I defiantly always have a sink tip in my bag. Beats having to bring a separate rod or another spool. I like that these have the swivel attached!

What's the difference between this and the renzetti 200 dollar vise?
@MoonlitFlyFishing29 күн бұрын
The biggest difference is going to be the length of the vise post. The Renzetti has a 7" post and the NIRVANA V2 has a 6" post. You can adjust the height of the vise by where you put it in the base. If you seat the post all the way down it is 6", if you seat it higher up in the base and secure it down tightly you end up with the 7" height. After that they are both functionally good rotary vises. Ours comes with a material clip included, and a bobbin rest at no charge either.

Its a really nice looking vice. Ive always wanted to make my own but never could figure a way around the patents for the tying vice clamps . Curious if its now opensource or if you have to lisence? @MoonlitFlyFishing

Sculpins are a great pattern out of Gardiner mt we used gold body with brown back, head olive is good we mimicked chub you would have to incorporate your materials which would be awesome.
@MoonlitFlyFishingАй бұрын
Sculpins are very effective for sure. I love those colors too, olive is my go to though.

V1 is a very nice looking vise but has flaws. V2 performs just a little better but lost its appeal color wise. Narrator needs to pay attention when saying “piss” instead of “piece” at the beginning of the video, still a nice video tho!

Awesome catch! Which Nirvana rod was that wt and length, and what line are you pairing with it?
@MoonlitFlyFishing2 ай бұрын
The rod is the NIRVANA PhoenixGLASS 8'3" 10wt. I'm sure he paired it with a Cortland Line, as far as the reel goes I'm not certain.
