We have booked for August 2019 for Gatwick to Orlando and hoping we get the refurbished 777 as our recent trip to Vegas with BA on a 777 was awful. Is there a way of finding out in advance if our plane is refurbished via the plane number etc? TIA.

I am also flying to Orlando in August, my flight is definitely the new configuration. You can tell by the number of seats per row in Economy - new config has 10 (3-4-3) and the old one has 9 (3-3-3).

As someone said before, go to manage my booking and select seats if you see 3-4-3 then it’s refurbished. Another way to tell is if economy starts at row 20

I thought BA were refurbishing their 777s out of Gatwick with a seat configuration of 3-4-3, see the IFE was the same unresponsive small screen

they have been refurbished apart from a few aircraft that are currently waiting to be done. 75% of Gatwick's 777's have been refurbished now. only 3/4 planes left to be done

Ya ha. I sat in the exact same seat as you onboard G-EZAG on June 3 2018. It was from Amsterdam to London Luton

Finally somebody bought something!!! I just hate how people board the plane, stick the camera onto the window for 50 minutes not showing anything from the cabin, eating their own food and the call it a flight report... Well done!
