Today I managed to recreate the same bug with the stash and put 2h sword with shield, but i didn't understand how i did it. Now when trying to re-create it i am unable to do so. This happens after it was fixed, so i guess the bug can still be recreated but i need to future out how i did it in the first place.

I’m pretty sure attack speed does not affect whirlwind. It is a channeling skill

You are correct. I had to look it up. In Last Epoch, the Whirlwind skill, (Warpath), benefits from attack speed and I just went with that mindset.

Whirlwind is ok. Pushed it to tier 55 in the pit with only a couple pieces of gear masterworked to tier 4, but I can already tell this build is not going to push super high. I'll keep chipping away at it. It's super fun though and speed farms helltide and NMD decently well

I think it was either a world drop or I got it from a prophecy. You start to see them drop around lvl 85+ since that is the required level for them

didn't watch the whole vid, but rahyeh shield can provide 250%healing efficiency as a legendary and 75%inc firedamage on top, dunno why everyone is dropping that for some meager castspeed on catalysts ;D

I’m working with a ES/Vc/anomoly/rive/hh build and I really like it especially without much gear yet. I was using echos instead of hh and it didn’t feel as good

Interesting, i'm new to last epoch and this type of game and one of the first build that caught my attention was the voidknight version of your build with smite damage converted to void (which looks less pretty ^^'). It took me some times farming in monolith with my warlock to get those idols... but thanks to the lvl 3 of CoF i got my first 3 idols instead of one (ngl it was quite satisfying and lvl up with it was a piece of cake). Did you also tried the smite hammer throw voidknight build ? I'm interested if you know the main differences between these two build and why did u choose the Paladin version ?

I tried it before with not very optimal gear. I was thinking about checking it out this week. Might have to do that. Despite being similar in playstyle, they require different kinds of gear, so I can't really just equip my Paladin stuff. I got a few pieces to work with though

Typically, a little higher. You need the idols that let you cast smite on throwing attack.

I think void cleave shouldnt be axe/swors specific. They have a unique mace that doeant work with it and that is sucha shame.

no, unfortunately. you can use hammer throw at lvl 2 and get smite after putting twenty points in the sentinel tree, but to make them work together, you need idols. They are called Keen idols. This would be a build to transition to once you get a few of those and some idol slots. Thanks for watching and subscribing :)

you need a specific kind of sentinel idol called Keen idols. They are bird shaped and take up two by two slots in your idol tab, which means if you got four of them, you can use all four. They give you a chance to proc smite on throwing attack
