If you're dying you'll get treatment immediately and you'll have to pay for said treatment later, in free health care countries like Canada however you're put on the equivalent of a waiting list pretty much so if you have something serious like kidney stones in Canada you'll be suffering for months before finally arriving to your scheduled appointment. I'd definitely prefer american health care as expensive as it is I at least know I'll be alive and it's better to be broke instead of dead.
