I recommend you to play a lot of things, even if you can't finish all the pieces. Playing only one thing is bad for the piece itself, you get bad habits and you don't progress. Have La Campanella as a goal but playing a lot of things will help you acquiring technic and getting better at reading habits and mental structures.

You are doing amazing keep it up! Tip: when a certain part doesn’t sound right/ or you keep making mistakes just play that/ those measures extremely slow. Once you got the hang of it play those measures 5 times perfect in a row to make you got it down!

It has taken you 18 days to HORRIBLY get what a person thats qualified to play this piece would het after a few hours of sight reading and practice, you should really stick to leaving your fantasies behind of "impressing" a bunch of people with the two liszt most overplayed pieces cuz you wont impress no one with that technique my man, this is truly just hilarious lmao

I hate to demotivate you like this but you can't finish this piece ever if you don't train well. You arent ready yet! You can't jump to la campanella from nothing. I can immediately see at any point in the video that you are practising wrong and your techique isnt there. Please start with easier pieces and maybe after years of building up your skills you can attempt this.

I think it's fine as long as he's also doing other pieces too. I learned fantasie impromptu while learning basic techniques with other lower level pieces in my first year. I actually learned faster this way bcuz the harder pieces taught me advanced techniques that made it way easier to play other lower level pieces.

I say this with sincerity please listen. This piece will INJURE you if you play it with the technique you have now. People who have played piano for decades will struggle with it even with perfect technique. It is a monster of a piece, 5 minutes with no time to rest, switching between different techniques, and without knowing what your doing, you will hurt yourself. I have played for over a decade and I still don't attempt this piece because of its size and its needed clarity when playing. Trust me, I know it sucks to hear "Play pieces only at your level," I used to hear that every day. I now understand why, the foundation it builds is necessary. Please take this into consideration. Plenty of beauty and enjoyment can be found in pieces other than this one. If you want to play Liszt, the Consolations are amazing. Easier chopin nocturnes and waltzes are beautiful. They will help build a foundation to reach pieces like this one down the road. Classical piano is a long staircase, and while this piece isn't at the last stair, its pretty damn far up there and impossible to reach without reaching a few inbetween.

This is nothing but a time waste by the way if anyone hasnt told u this but yeah, your technique is literally lightyears behind what is needed to even "decently" play this and all u gonna have after a year is a really sloppy, undinamical, uncordinated note soup that kind of "resembles" la campanella, but nothing more.

@LaCampanellaChallenger well u took this way to deep bruh lmao 🤣, you know this, everybody knows this, you're not gonna play like trifonov no matter how hard u try and no matter how much practice u do if u go with this route, but whatever helps you sleep at night buddy, classical piano is not something that you can just do whatever you please, there's a methodology that you gotta follow Wich has as a main part playing stuff at ur level, otherwise ur gonna end up having nothing at all, but yeah u do u buddy keep trying I guess...

Ah here it is. Good job. In some places, your technique could be better, like the octaves. Other than that, you should take a break from this piece for now, and focus on other (hopefully easier) pieces.

I’m practicing another piece too But I don’t stop practicing La Campanella Because I love La Campanella
