Slowest pulls I've ever seen. Unbearable.

Five games in and I lost them all, very badly, core set only. There are serious SERIOUS issues with this game, and I've played dozens of deckbuilders. This one is among the worst. Very poorly designed with respect to difficulty. It's the hardest, and most unreasonable, deckbuilder in existence, bar none. Between the end of turn, start of turn, end of round effects on everything, it's all against you. Couple that with highly random *dice* and you have a recipe for sheer disaster, frustration, and intense rage quitting. Things spiral out of control *way* too quickly. I don't recommend this one. Not by a long shot. Inappropriately playtested for sure.

How do the played house pieces fit? Do they sit on straight and sturdy? Or are they fiddly?

I just got my copy of the game this week (during the publisher's Black Friday sale) and played it 2 handed and played it with 3P (with other folks) and it's so good! Looks like it would be complicated, but it really isn't once you get into the flow of it. :)

Are you also going to check out the other sets in this series?

Really appreciate this, it's very helpful. I actually had some smaller baggies laying around after using them, the insert works ok for my needs.

Man, this looks amazing. I don't understand the people that complain about the art. Like you, I also like the original art, but this one is amazing as well, so much character! Yeah sure it's anthropomorphic animals, but it's also very well done, and has a very cool and consistent vibe! Can't wait till this releases!

You mentioned that the writer/artist cards that have two genres are part of an expansion, but I thought those were exclusive to the deluxe edition that was part of the Kickstarter?

Do the promo clans have a player aid too?

some of the continents have more cards and different animal types have more than others....u would think they should be balanced

I know I'm a bit late to the party... but my conclusion is that it *is* possible to fit everything and keep the insert, though it does require discarding two of the boxes: 1. Store the 2 Volfyrion Card Game packs and the 4 expansion packs in the middle two trays... no issues there. 2. Store all the extra cards (promo decks) underneath the Volfyirion Guilds box on the left side... put the Wonders pack and some of the dividers in the card slot there, split the remaining packs (Mysthea Promo Deck, Journey Pack, Dice Tower Promo Pack, etc) in two stacks and cut a piece of foam and put that in the middle between those two stacks to keep the two stacks from moving into each other. Put the Volfyirion Guilds box on top. There should still be plenty of room there to not cause any lid lift. 3. Take the dragon out of its box and its tray and put it in the lower right slot. It's safe there, so it doesn't need its original plastic tray. 4. Take the tokens out of their box, store them in a plastic bag and put that bag in the upper right slot.

I think the rules says that legends can only go through one corner line at a time, and not 2. If they do, they have to be replaced right before the next corner line. Or am I wrong?

Hello, be careful with the behavior of the automaton (aggressive, defensive etc.) - it depends only on the box formed by the two black squares when merging the two cards, and not on each letter corresponding to the action. Page 6 : C - The completed box shows wich AI behavior to follow for the turn

So this will have Skrulls, one of the things obviously missing from Crisis Protocol. Are Skrulls part of some Fantastic Four (also nowhere to be seen in MCP) licence, hence why they're not there?
