I’m really disappointed with the Belkin UltraGlass 2 screen protector I purchased alongside my iPhone 16. The product I received doesn’t match the how-to video at all. The tray included is completely different, and the dust removal sticker is much smaller than shown in the video-it doesn’t even cover the entire screen as it’s supposed to. While the process seems simple in theory, we all know that applying a screen protector can be quite a hassle. Having mismatched tools only adds to the frustration. I expected better consistency and quality from a brand like Belkin, especially given the premium price of this product.😔

What microfiber cloth? It doesn’t come with one. Or a dust sticker. It’s just a tray and a cover I. The package. Mine is for a 16 Pro Max. I’ll just stick it on there since there are no dust removal items. I bet that doesn’t work very well.

After about 20 minutes of effort, I finally managed to apply the screen protector perfectly, removing all the bubbles (with the help of a matchstick, by the way). However, just a day later, the remote for my Fire TV Stick accidentally dropped onto the screen from a height of only 5-10 cm. This lightweight plastic (!) remote, which weighs less than 50g, caused the supposedly tough and durable screen protector to crack. I'm honestly so disappointed.

The QR code on the inside of the ‘ScreenForce UltraGlass 2 Treated Screen Protector’ packaging for iPhone 15 Pro Max that I have opens this video, but the actual contents and the printed application method with the packaging don’t match, or even closely resemble what’s in this video. The included dust removal sticker is approximately 25% of the screen size so it has to be applied and removed a number of times - it isn’t larger than the screen with an additional margin like the one in the video. Also, per the printed instructions and included ‘Easy Align Tray’ the iPhone handset must be laid in the tray with the screen facing upwards, not down. The screen protector itself is then lowered onto the screen after (a) the dust removal sticker has been removed from the screen and (b) a plastic film is removed from the applied face of the screen protector. Finally a second plastic film is then removed from the exposed face of the protector. ALL of that leaves the screen and applied face of the screen protector vulnerable to contamination by airborne dust throughout the process, which inevitably causes bubbles under the protector no matter how carefully one follows the instructions and process… so that is what I have now. Dust and bubbles 😒 What is additionally disappointing is that Belkin sent this to me as a warranty replacement for an Ultraglass 2 screen protector that was purchased and applied at the Apple Store located where I live - it was an OEM item in brown recyclable packaging and the Apple Store installed it using a proprietary device. It failed and was then inspected at that Apple Store. A team member there guided me through the replacement claim and advised that Belkin would send a replacement directly to me, which I should then bring to the Apple Store for them to install. What I actually received from Belkin is the retail(?) version in cardboard box packaging. When I presented it at the Apple Store to be applied a team member explained that the Ultraglass 2 protector I was sent isn’t a version that’s compatible with their proprietary applicator - it’s a ‘DIY’ unit with a template tray etc. Consequently it isn’t an exact replacement, and the outcome is a bubbled screen protector because of the design shortcomings that I described above. It’s not an equivalent replacement if the outcome is different. I feel that it’s an avoidably cheap and disappointing method for addressing warranty replacement, and that Belkin should back itself properly with these things.

What are the differences to the version that released a year ago? (Apart from aesthetics and the fact that you can now tilt your phone)

Finally sorted it I unplugged it from right next to the router open up the bin threw it in and bought a tapo plug instead now works perfectly.

Rubbish product. Bought it new for the ipad. Followed the iPhone instructions because there's none for the ipad. Bubbles, dust and finger prints everywhere. Threw it in the bin.

I am able to pair, but when attaching my phone to the magsafe portion I do not get a solid green light. I even go into camera app and record my face and move around and it does not track. the light stays solid white.

DO NOT FOLLOW the video! Instead, applying force at the center top-down with your fingers (C-Shape). Otherwise, the glass will not be stuck with the phone.
