Incredible. My childhood Church, School, and Bingo Hall where school plays were performed upstairs. The Fish Fry. I still remember the Bingo Hall before the 2 side additions to the St Cecilia Street Entrance to expand the Fish Fry. There was a Water Fountain in between the brick wings of the school and also served as recess playground as well as the front and rear areas of school. I guarantee that i am the final/only former 8 year pupil to actually comment on this. Thanks for the mention. So heartrending how the Archdiocese fell so low to abandon the very rich heritage of this once Magnificent Catholic Parish. The Resurrectionist's Priests & Pastors were Divinely Inspired as were the Sister's Of Charity Nuns who taught school. I was Altar Boy of Knights of Columbus in Church for 7 full years as well as Safety Patrol.

Update July 2022: The soundness was more attributable to cold weather, soft ground, no flies, good farrier work. Some chronic foot issues resumed in hot, dry summer. Still no rubs, and we've had some hot, humid spells. Some hair loss at the poll, likely because of repeated movement while grazing. But no big deal. Still no cure; if I take the collar off, she eventually (but not right away) resumes cribbing.
@WordsMusicHorses
@WordsMusicHorses 2 жыл бұрын
Update May 2022: The collar absolutely still works. I'd hoped she might be cured, but 15 years of cribbing I think is too much of a habit to fully overcome. I can take it off for short periods and she'll generally be good, as long as there's something else to keep her mouth occupied: i.e., hay in a stall or, in winter, in the field. But the amazing thing, and maybe this is somewhat coincidence, is she's been absolutely sound since then, and we've often had issues with arthritis/lameness in one foot. We did two rides in one week (late winter, taking advantage of warm spells) that included a lot of jogging on pavement and even after the second one, she was fine. Her general health just seems improved. Also, she's shed out her winter coat and so far, despite very warm days, the collar has not caused rubs or hair loss.

Just noticed you can see my Hungry for Music T-shirt in the door reflection at the beginning of this video! On July 27, 2017, we're having this concert there: Hungry for Music has contributed to Louisville’s musical programs through donations of drums and other percussion to The Louisville Leopard Percussionists, River City Drum Corps and others. The Magic Music Mission will complete a U.S. tour in the city with a Staple Singers tribute concert and instrument drive on Thursday, July 27, at Tim Faulkner Gallery. The show also will benefit River City Drum Corp, which is performing that night, and Louisville Public Media’s Instrumental Partners program, through an instrument drive to be held at the concert. A donation of $10 is suggested as admission to the concert, which will include performers such as Sheryl Rouse, Tyrone Cotton, Blues and Greys, Karter Louis, Jacqui Blue and other musician friends.
