@@nicholaspapadopoulos5542 Waay too much to write. Simply put traditional Asian martial arts is more LARP'ing than actual, practical combat or self defense. The UFC and the Internet have proven that. There are 1000 ineffective techniques to learn. Basic wrestling and Western boxing together are far more effective. BJJ and kickboxing together are far more effective. Bruce Lee himself said "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times" I refer you to KZbin vids of Xu Xiaodong who is actively exposing these frauds. And finally I harbor resentment against these Dojos and similar schools that bring in children who wish to learn to defend themselves and they learn nothing but how to get their ass kicked. Simply put these styles are needlessly complicated, ineffective in real world and misleading to people who are just trying to learn self defense in a violent world. Go to few BJJ classes and feel the difference. If your there just for "tradition" and social engagement then I wish you the best.

Besides you comment on my comment for the salutation video which is crap in my opinion. Even those guys are my seniors / uncles. The tradition of the salutation in every fighting style is the window of cultural respect. How many times have you heard OSS in Kickboxing gyms and Jiu Jitsu clubs? Bowing and stuff? Isn't a ritualistic thing. Even in combat true or sport, the efficient dude is the one who put EFFORT. GSP and Lyoto Machida were bowing before and after the fight. Thai boxer kneeling before their opponent. Tradition and effort. Besides before China took over Hong Kong, was full gang bangers inside the police. And many of those guys become the head on every style in Chinese Art.
