Hey there, I am not using centos, but I am using Pop-OS ( another linux flavor) If you want to use netmiko to access your devices inside of EVE-NG, you must connect the virtual devices to a cloud network and have networking established on your vmware/virtual box correctly.

Hi, Great video. Have a request, make video to explain EIS, Enhanced Internet Service. Need to understand what that technology is all about. Thanks
@AdminSaveNRS2-1760
@AdminSaveNRS2-1760 4 жыл бұрын
Sounds good! I will keep this in mind! Just a quick FYI, an IES is just at basic level a L3 service. A lot of companies use Nokia SROS and deliver internet via IES services. This allows you to create an interface on the base routing context and attach it to a VPLS, SPOKE or e-Pipe handing off to the customer.
@johnmoff9324
@johnmoff9324 4 жыл бұрын
@@AdminSaveNRS2-1760 so it’s almost equivalent of what you did there. Is it safe to assume if the L3 interface you configured on routers SR12 and SR13 was a public ip address for internet access this would have been EIS? If you happen to know, what would be the equivalent terminology for EIS in other popular vendors like Cisco or Juniper
@AdminSaveNRS2-1760
@AdminSaveNRS2-1760 4 жыл бұрын
@@johnmoff9324 That's correct! If those were public IP's, this would of been exactly how a internet service would be delivered to a customer in a theoretical service provider environment. The NOKIA SROS platform has a 'services' model in which other vendors don't really apply. However, I would compare an IES interface to a simple L3 interface with an access port. IES interfaces are not used to connect network ports between nokia routers, only to deliver access port based services.

Great Video I have a Question for example if the customer add a new network on his net the provider must also add on the polici statement ??
@AdminSaveNRS2-1760
@AdminSaveNRS2-1760 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Miguel, Most likely, yes. As a service provider, we are in charge of controlling what routes we are advertising from our customers. If the customer wants to add a new prefix, we must know the prefix and ALLOW the prefix into our network by updating the routing policy. We do not want our customer to send us whatever prefix they want. There is a process for advertising routes, either they purchase the subnet from the provider or they provide an LOA. Hope this helps,
