So what if it’s sluggish?? All of those high capacity micro mags are sluggish on the top round. The only thing that matters is the function so stop trying to find a complaint.

@ even sig p365 magazines are sluggish on the top round chambering. It’s a common theme with all of these micro 9mm high capacity magazines. Please review it by shooting hundreds of rounds through it and some drop testing. Sluggish is just anecdotal evidence

@ no it’s not “anecdotal” that’s literally how it is. Ive put plenty of rounds down range with these mags. They work. I’ll give them that.

Fun fact...Roger Wang, owner of FCD is one of the founders of Battle Arms Development and had a hand in designing both safeties. It's spendy because it's all tool steel, and expensive to machine...especially keeping the fit in the levers so tight. It's definitely worth the extra money if you're tired of dealing with cast/mim parts

First time I ran the G3 mags at the range they failed miserably- failure to feed, failure to go into battery- it was like having a single shot semi-auto. It was great for practicing failure drills, but made it a challenge to qualify. I contacted Shield Arms and they sent me a pre-paid shipping label. They looked at the mags and warrantied them. The replacements arrived today. Hopefully they’ll perform.

The SB2 and RC2 are identical even baffles, it's simply a bigger bore, for shit various ammo and shorter then 10.3 barrels to event baffle strikes. The RC2 on a MK18s has been done forever. I run an RC2 dedicated on a 7.5 with thousands of rounds and no baffle strike. The gas is much less and better though when using the SB2 due to the increased diameter up front
@chaoticcaninejb10 күн бұрын
I have both RC2 and RC3 and there isn't one reason I would use it over an RC2. If I'm buying a can, the major reason is quiet. If not I won't run a can. To just take the edge off and deal with the weight and length, no advantage for me.

I don't think you know how to shoot very well. There is no difference when shooting at speed between a 1/2stage. You're going to be pulling all the way through the trigger as fast and hard as you can. The huge benefit is at distance when prepping the 1st stage and having an extremely light, clean, short-break is infinitely better than a light 1stage. That said, Larue is the tits.

I have nothing against the G43, G43x, or G48. I think they’re very useful for certain situations. What doesn’t make sense to me is configuring the handgun with long mag extensions, lights, etc. for carry and try to flex it into a roll where a duty-sized pistol is better suited. I shoot a lot. Thousands upon thousands of rounds a year. I’ve shot the g43x and g48 head to head on several occasions against g19s, 17s, and 34s. I’m not nearly as fast or accurate with the small pistols. Don’t get me wrong, to each their own. There’s no wrong answer. If someone has a different take, I’d love to hear it.
