Cummins diesel maybc12 valve . 17 isn't bad but I get like 16 to 20 with my 6,9 v 8 diesel. The NV u mentioned to the gearbox told me something but didn't click .

Hey I’m Also a big fan. Been following you since the beginning of the blazer build . Sold my Jeep bought a 90 K5 Blazer. LS swapped it, put it on tons, basically just off the beaten path of what you e done, just a tad milder. I’m serious considering this cage kit because it’ll just take me way too long and do t have all the equipment at my fingertips. However I’m really interested in a set of front seat brackets first. What’s the lead time/turnover on them right now? Keep putting this awesome content out there love it.

Yeah you really screwed the pooch by going with the RB kit, caused a whole lotta problems. I swapped a cummins into my 87 crew 4x4. Used dodge rad and innercooler mounted with inlet/outlet on bottom, fits great once core support is opened up and supports added in. Im running dodge fan, fan clutch and shroud. No firewall modifications. 180 degree thermostat in mine and i cant get it to warm up past 150 degrees unless towing. Confirmed with infrared heat gun. I also used agan fab kit set-up to mount and support engine. Nice job on your swap overall.

I’ve photoshopped this exact cage on mine but it would take me months to build. I think you are making exactly what most of us need. Looks awesome! Might like a spare tire mount integrated.

I have a c10 1978 two wheel drive and I’d like to convert it to a 4x4 The axles I have are from a 2nd gen dodge 3500. I hope I can use these axles. Yes I’d prefer yo use the military Dana 60 but to find one is like pulling teeth. I’m looking to swap a Cummins in the near future and I’ll be going with an Allison 6 speed built by Suncoast. I have a complete 2nd gen truck for a donor. What are the steps you’d recommend I take for this build?
