What were they thinking? lol Trailer animations alone were too smooth for a game at that time. Sony bet that it was easy to dube people at the time, it worked for them before, why not do it now.

This was the true sequel to Mgs2. Mgs3 was the prequel. 5 after mgs3 but before MG 1 msx.

Octocamo is still one of the coolest and most unique Sci-Fi ideas yet. Anyone feel free to correct me, but there's been nothing like Octocamo in *any* other game (in and out of the Metal Gear Series), which just makes it so much cooler. And programming-wise, that's gotta be damn near arcane..

A damn shame the idea and plot of Jack the Ripper killing vampires and being drivin into insanity from the dark corners of London sounds amazing great then Dante’s inferno wish ea pushed it though or any more information about the game then the articles and what’s left of this

If only the whole game was like this. Act 3-5 really dropped the ball, but this was pretty representative of Acts 1 and 2. Great demo. I hesitate to say it's better than the MGS2 tech demo though.

Act 4 has got to be the most disappointing crap in the whole game. The buildup of nostalgia only to have the world's most annoying robots patrolling Shadow Moses. Easily the worst act gameplay-wise. The game really goes downhill after Acts 1 & 2.

The hype for this game was DIFFERENT leading up to this game!! It was palpable!! The only game that has come close to having the way I felt leading up to the release of this game is GOW Ragnarok
