I’d rather use a home made fire starter than have to break down wood that has already been broken down. I just stick a home made fire starter inside a tissue paper roll and add in some dryer lent. No kindling needed. Fire takes off

My 2022 Toyota Tundra had a broken engine at 32,500 miles. The dealer told me they would replace the engine, but I am demanding better engine and transmission coverage.

How the junk do you get it to stick? I’m upside down on an engine block and it will never stick.
@TheGaginator
@TheGaginator 7 күн бұрын
@@ScoobyDoo-kt9pv Prep work is key to good adhesion. Clean and sand the surface got want it to stick on. There cannot be any petroleum product on the metal. If you are not working around gasoline, you can use a torch to dry the area. I had issues with some product that was OLD at first. If the putty doesn't get warm in your hand and smell bad, it's old.

@ I can’t get it dry. It’s weeping and also I don’t have a garage it’s outside. The block keeps weeping. It’s been a long time. I tried brazing too I can’t get anything to stick to it wet.

I’m 1 week away from this very same surgery my biggest concern is from my last back surgery I had retention issues and I had to have a catheter for about a month and a half and that was the worst experience of my life, I’m really feeling stressed out the closer surgery time gets here. But thanks for your video I wish the best in the future for you buddy . PS cool ride brother 😎✌️

I definitely would’ve left the tailgate liner on because now you have no protection at all on the tailgate.
@TheGaginator
@TheGaginator 9 күн бұрын
I agree, and I did. After I had the tailgate naked for a day, I put the hard plastic one back on. At least until I replace that

Definitely will trap water. I want to see you drop a concrete block from over your head in bed..LOL You’ll be taking that liner in and out quite a few times during those 10 years with this type of liner. once a week for 10 years equals 500+ intervals.
@TheGaginator
@TheGaginator 9 күн бұрын
100%^ agree with the concrete blocks scenario, but this is my light duty truck for hauling the family, golf cart, etc. I have other vehicles for work. The hard plastic full drop in is unbeatable when talking about max protection for sure. Water and things can get under the Lasfit mat, but I don't think it's nearly as big of a deal as the full drop in. For the people who use a bed cover, it's also a non issue i guess

They make tailgate covers too. Not the company you use but others. They bolt on and make the tailgate smooth.
@TheGaginator
@TheGaginator 9 күн бұрын
I have been looking at those. Lasfit told me they would make them for this truck, so I'm going to try and wait so i have a matching set. For now, im going to keep the hard plastic tailgate cover on it
@BR549_o7
@BR549_o7 10 күн бұрын
that lasfit liner would go great after getting a sprayed in liner put in. The spray in liner protects all the bed paint and the bed mat helps protect against dents. Great combo they are together. Your wheel well humps are not protected.
@Greatgadgetsgear
@Greatgadgetsgear 9 күн бұрын
I was thinking the same thing but after a spray in liner I’d like a laser cut rubber mat way softer on your knees and you get cushion and less sliding of your gear.

What kind of bed cover is on the truck ? I would like to have a roll up type myself. It it any good and keeps the water out. The Lasfit mat looks good . Being as light as it seems to be, will it come flying out at 75mph is my only question?
@TheGaginator
@TheGaginator 11 күн бұрын
It's the rough country roll up bed cover. The f-150 model is not as well sealed as the one I had on my Tundra. That one was excellent! I was also worried about the bed mat being lightweight and moving around, but it doesn't budge. I think it seals pretty well against the bed

SOG multitools can deploy the pliers straight out of the box. My Powerlock has been smoother than a Leatherman Free series since I got it. I wish they made the Poweraccess in the USA. It's such a cool design but the chinese steel it's built from is just so inferior. It's pretty much pot metal

Have you ever seen transmission fluid leak into the sensor? I have a 2010 escape I just picked up and I checked the transmission range sensor after pulling the same code and it was coated in tranny fluid. I’m deciding if I want to sell it for parts or fix it. If it may be a seal or gasket that went bad is my only guess. Thank you!
