Nice job. I have a KX-57. How do you clean your machine to prevent moving that nasty kudzu to another property? I clean my tracks with a spade and a broom and blow it all within an inch of its life with a backpack blower. Some guys just down the road here cleared 6 acres a few years ago and now it is wall to wall kudzu. No other Kudzu around, so they totally brought it in. If that property was pretty it would bring 500k. Very desirable location. They can't sell it to save their lives. I could see getting sued over that.

Did you have any sign before the failure? Like a noisy bearing at all? I have a 2017 general as well, with around 6500 miles on it and am having wicked noise from the transmission. Put new fluid in it about 50-60 miles ago and just drained it out the other day and there was an excessive amount of metal on the plug. Hoping to catch it before it blows out the side like yours did. But awesome fix by the way great video.

Well i did not get my Oder so a went acanmy got one for $799.0 before taxes on line or father day does it was total fog $800.00 bucks or more listed at $1600.00 plus I got lights like a ford f150 lightning or Tesla car

@34:51 you see the gasket compression ring is compromised. look at the staining from the it to the coolant port. before i tear one down, i do a compression test and cylinder leak down. this way i know what the condition of the rings and the valves are. then i pressurize the cooling system and remove the oil pan. i look for coolant coming from any of the cylinder walls. this can reveal cavitation issues. on that piston that you think may be broke, move it down a bit and put some thin penetrating oil in the cylinder. look for it to leak around that spot. looks like something has been in one or more of those cylinders by the beat up pistons. i have seen enough to make me need to do a complete tear down and inspection. these engine are easy to get and cheap. you can probably swap in a good one faster and cheaper. now you know what to look for when searching for one.

I'd pull the valves out of that cylinder with all the piston damage and try to figure out what caused it. To me it looks like it dropped a valve but who knows. Looks like pits all over that cylinder with the rust ring. Does that motor have sleeves? Whole lot of question marks. Seems like somebody has messed with it in the past.

would a dt466 fit in that low pro truck? If it does, that is the direction I'd go.
