Hi Hannah, loved this episode! All your projects look beautiful. I love the Wonder Woman shawl. I ordered one of those coffee mugs. They are gorgeous. I’m sorry for the loss of your cousin. Hugs to you. I feel for you for the allergies. I have severe environmental allergies, so I decided to get allergy shots. I’ve been doing it for 6 months and it has helped tremendously. I hope you can find some relief. Have a great week

Hello! Yes! Every time we move furniture in the living room there are toys and trash all over the floor where the couch sits. I make the kids pick up all the toys and throw away the trash. I always laugh when when one of the kids gets excited about a toy theu haven't seen since it was lost under the couch. 😁

I'm sorry for your loss, that's so young 😞 I love the Pottery Throwdown, I watch it every year, isn't Keith just the sweetest?! My asthma and allergies got so much worse after having my son, I also take a daily antihistamine otherwise my whole body itches. I thought I had developed an allergy to our cat, but he's no longer with us and we've moved to a brand new (just built) house and I still itch if I stop my meds *sigh*. Just listening to you talk about allergies had me sneezing 🤣

I think you knit continental? If you haven't tried Norwegian purling, definitely do if you ever have time. Game changing for me, as you keep the yib of your left hand while purling, like crochet.
@TheCozyCottageCrochet2 күн бұрын
I do knit continental! I have tried Norwegian purling a couple of times and just haven't loved it, but I will try again sometime! I might just need more muscle memory to make it work. I did notice that it changed my tension quite a bit (which maybe isn't a bad thing since I knit very tightly 😅)

In 2014, I crocheted a top that used 8-uple stitches. The pattern was from a designer from somewhere in the north of England or maybe Scotland. Her name was Aiobhe Ni. She did describe the stitch as a linked stitch. I'd never seen that stitch name and I don't think I've ever seen it again. It was interesting to hear that it exists somewhere else.
@TheCozyCottageCrochet2 күн бұрын
Yes I think that was her name! Linked stitches are very cool. I love the idea of using an 8 stitch, the project would grow so much every row!

Hi Hannah...i commented on your last video about the plan for my fancy astrological yarn in both mine & Mr. Boyfriends signs that i will work together in a blanket, likely lapghan, but will have tp find enough contrasting and similar colors in a DK weight, but hopefully I'll get it done by the end of Nov. I'll have to tag you on IG once i find the right pattern. Love all your makes and WOW cant believe Baby Noah is 1 already. Time flies. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

Nice to see you. And thanks to you after the 2nd to last video I got excited about the wonder women shael again. I finally crochet one and actually finished fast. I used almost the same colors as pattern crocheted it very fast but I think it's because it was something new in ech section and i tend to do 1 to 2 projects at a time. I am doing the knitted one now which will take me longer. I like taking my time when it come to knitting so I know I will be making more when possible but so far I am finding these patterns might be one of those rare go to patterns.😊 loving the yarn you are making yours in reminds of confetti..

I’m so sorry for your loss Hannah, please accept my condolences. I love the British pottery show too - it’s wonderful. Thanks for the tip, I need a nice yarn bowl for my craft space and found beautiful bowls on her Etsy store that’ll work. I think I have the perfect entry for the MAL; I have several ounces of Nutiden unspun yarn from Honer och Eir that I’ve so far lovingly admired and, occasionally, sniffed 😊. I like the Moorland mittens, by Tania Barley, and will use one color way for a pair. Wish me luck!

The "you never know all that's going on in a person's life" really hit me when country singer Naomi Judd committed suicide. She always always seemed so happy and positive and upbeat and just a ray of sunshine so when I heard what she'd done I was disbelieving. It really made me look at people differently, not badly, but definitely with more thought.

I did start. You inspired me to do a crescent shawl with panels of solid crochet and simple lace mohair, except I’m using suri alpaca. Man! It is impossible to find this pattern without it being made for the schlubby yarn. I am just using fingering weight yarn but like, it does not exist. So because I didn’t want to think about it enough to design it, I am doing the Ingrid shawl with my neon green zombie yarn, my mojito suri alpaca for the lace panels, and a deep slight shimmer accent navy-ish tonal as a contrast for the solid panel section as well. I have had this yarn for a long time because I LOVE zombies, I LOVE green, especially slime greens. And navy is my favorite power color and my favorite neutral. Also, suri alpaca is my favorite fluff yarn and I got this because I wanted to use it for a lace panel work in a shawl. So these yarns felt kind of perfect for the MAL.

Hi Hannah...I'm not part of Ravelry but I would like to enter, will it work if I give the info in here, although won'tbe able to post pictures? I have 2 hanks of yarn that I got earlier this month from The Yarn Byrd truck "Birdie", when at the Michigan Fiber Festival. The reason we got them was because of the whole experience of our first time at a fiber festival, our first time on Yarn Trucks & because they were named after astrological signs so had to get mine & Mr. Boyfriends. He and I talked about this MAL as well as what we'd like to make from this special, as well as hand dyed, yarn and since it's not a colorway he'd be likely to wear a wearable out of & we got it so we can make something for both of us to use, we decided that we would like it to be part of a blanket for ourselves, likely a lapghan, but what I'll do is hold both strands together (fingering weight individually) and will go thru my extensive hand dyed stash to find colorways to work with it as well as contrasting and/or bright colors for the border. I'm really excited about this MAL, thanks for creating it, but am hoping I'll be able to finish it by the end of, oh wait, did you say Nov or Oct? Well with as many craft shows I have planned I'm still hoping but keeping fi gers crossed that I will. All of your makes are awesome & just saying he has the most precious smile! Have a great night!

I have this yarn by Loops and threads. It’s called facets. Almost like the Noro yarn but cheaper. Its color is “spectrum “ and perfect autumn colors. I’ve been wanting to make a shawl for the coming cold months and I love a challenge because I get bored easy with patterns. So I picked “the spring shawl” by Adriana M.
