I really love that S&M recording, even if it's all been fixed like crazy in post. That fretless sounds great! Kind of gross to watch that background ooze around, though, knowing what it's made from.

any suggestion what amp/saturation settings / plugins use to make similar, dirty sound?

From what I recall I didn't use an amp, I just added distortion to the bass and then a bit crushing distortion pluggin onto that to give it a synthy sound.

@@JamesDixon Thanks. I'm total newbe in guitar world, but I wanna do/create some similar sound by using emualtion VST (virtual instrument). I have some ideas for create bass line for club/house track. Wonder how that guitar sounds without FX's.

is this bass new? I admire your dedication to the 6 string bass. It was always too confusing to me. Even took at least a year for me to be somewhat comfortable on a 5 string.
