They are different, agreed. But from this comparison I walked away liking the Dimebucker better. 😕 Amazing playing though.

Putting in the neck and bridge Jupiter 6.

Jupiter has more mids? It's nice in soloing situation, yet the Dimebucker is great for riffs I think.

Stupidly tried learning Sarcoma this week, and I'm now convinced that the only explanation for how clean Wes plays is that he's Annunaki. My brain and fingers hurt trying to play this.

I just recently revisited Sarcoma and I love how you can hear Dimebag's influence throughout the tracks

Can anyone tell me what the black tape effect on tone. I see some guitarist do that (I know it's to prevent pickup height change or mistakenly struck your pick when picking around the neck pickup), what about tonality?

Can you imagine if Wes had been chosen to play guitar for the Pantera tribute instead of Zack Wylde? I’ll always respect Zack don’t get me wrong he does a good job. But cmon Wes in my opinion truly infuses Dimebags playing better than anyone else I’ve ever heard, and dare I say, THEN some. Wes is one of my favorite guitarists I love his playing.

Fuck man; your riffs are just heavy as the burden of a thousand souls, same goes for your tone. Wish I had your tone and skills. :D It's a pleasure to listen to your playing. By the way I think this Iceman was a huge hit and miss; they should've made it with a baritone scale...

Just got a dimebucker on a used Laguna en322. Sounds pretty heavy thru a ehx metal muff with gain at 12 o'clock on my 15w monoprice tube amp. Cant wait to get a set of allen keys to properly intonate it
