I used to dehydrate a 10oz can of "Hot Dog Chili" sauce, that is a can of chili seasoning, all it needs is some meat, onions, cheese, & I like to add Fritos to the chili.

One of my canoeing partners has just dehydrated a can of chili and brought it. Adding something like Fritos or corn chips is a good idea, but I find that stuff usually gets crushed into a powder. Chili isn't usually my first night meal. I typically save it for a rainy day, but that happened to be day 1 this trip. Thanks for the comment! Feel free to like and subscribe if you haven't already.
