what about, & hear me out, solid mercury? smash mercury together under high pressure, & maybe the atoms will form hyper-covalent bonds, I'm pretty sure mercury has a unique orbital ring structure that should make it possible.

Superconductivity at room temperature is possible. The material of use we have already but it will only work consistently in an enclosed environment. Like other major experiments a vacuum must be created because oxygen and other corrosive gases cannot be present. Their is only one housing material possibility on earth that the superconductive material can remain unaffected within it's bounds and the housing material must be enclosed in graphene tightly knitted. I believe this is how uap's achieve the cloaking. These two materials together are similar to the thin strong materials found at early ufo crash sites. I do not believe mankind will achieve these feat's prior to it's extinction as civilization has not yet been achieved and mankind might not overcome mental mechanization as all nuts and bolts stay within the compartment in which they were made.

The answer is literally everywhere, right in front of your eyes. Our entire plane of existence is a superconductor, to neutrinos at least. And the intergalactic medium is a superconductor with properties which are many orders of magnitude beyond the interstellar medium. Key is, understanding the authentic structure and dynamics that permit the individual component of matter at this scale of magnitude to exhibit a charge equalibrium. ('Neutral' charge infers an incorrect concept in that charge is not a fundamental principle in the composition of the individual component of matter. Rather, it is indeed composed of principles involving charge, as does everything this realm is accessible too, it is just structured in such a way as to contain specific properties which can be sympathetic to the corresponding properties of any other respective/prospective components of matter. This allows it to be nearly perfectly stable in any configuration regardless of its 99.999% of its possible orientations. Everything in our perceivable plane is, at a minimum, a Duality or Trinity in principle. EVERYTHING Edit: INCLUDING 'G' It is just that the reference frame it is manifest from is well beyond the constraints of our sensory capacity. (Ie; It would take more than a lifetime to detect the phase shift of a single wavelength of the shortest possible spectrum that G is a component of and/or the 'monopole' like characteristic of G is only the inducted effects upon the medium of our plane, resulting from the physics of a greater medium that our planes medium inhabits. Basically kinda like the popular analogy for conceiving higher dimensions where, from the perspective of a 2D realm, it only experiences the 2D section of an intersecting 3D realm as reality. But the intersecting 2D section is also subject to the form and reality of the 3D realm. *If you are not a component form of a plane's medium/form, you are intrinsically incoherent and incompatible with the medium of the plane and the reality of its form. You simply can not exist within it and are unable to perceive it. (Regardless if our species manages to endure for millenia after millenia, we will NEVER leave our galaxy with conventional conceptions of space travel. We would likely need to establish a wave guide of some description, manifest, sustain and take an insulating/protective bubble of our planes reality with us.... And even then the odds are vanishingly small that we could ever achieve such understanding and tooling with the confines of our biological brains relatively limited intelligence. Once the data 'from beyond reality' is known, we would have a chance but unless someone/something gifts that to us, we are stuck with a situation like the current 'singularity' of a black hole question.... All the maths in the world will never be able to account for unknowable, unknown-unknowns.

I have a suggestion, for making high pressure superconductor. Why not make use of the way that nascent hydrogen coordinates with metals like Platinum, Palladium, or maybe even Nickel. Here is how I would do it- by using chemical vapor deposition technique, to create a thin film, maybe one atom thick to start with, on the surface of one of your polished flat faced diamonds. Then subject the coated diamond to nascent hydrogen, or maybe diatomic hydrogen as well, it may not even matter. Do the same on an identical diamond and then mount them so that the faces are opposing, apply increasing pressure and check it for superconductivity. To check it you could have gold microwires contacting either side of the contact field, maybe having slightly inserted into the deposition layer prior to compression then hooked up to your detector. Or, you could instead forgo wire contacts and just apply a very specific magnetic field and have your detector check for the sustained field after the magnetic field is applied. One atom thick of hydrogen adsorbed onto the crystalline surface of the metal maybe insufficient, so perhaps multiple metal vapor and hydrogen gas depositions may need to be made on each diamond face, before applying the pressure to force them together. It may be that the extreme pressure is able to distort the lattice enough to enable the electrons of the hydrogen to combine into the cooper pair configuration..

i do have a idea on how to do what these are trying to do. you know how semiconductors become conductive by altering silicon. what if you could use the same kind of cheramics used for superconductivity and alter the property of the molecular structure like with semiconductors to make the superconductive material electrically conductive.

Spacex should use flux pinning to stop Starship in bellyflop above an electrically charged pad. The cold belly from sloshed liquid oxygen/methane on ceramic heat shield tiles can create a superconductor quantum locking situation that cushions, slows, and stops the rocket in mid air. Ask Elon if they have considered this. Just imagine seeing Starship (BFR) skydiving down to the pad, slowing, stopping, floating, and rotating like the actual BFG!

Sadly, even after passing nearly 100 years of efforts, we still don't know how superconductivity works. Even BCS theory can not explain how superconductivity works in compound superconductors. I think the key to find the room temperature superconductors is to find how it really works.
