Here in the UK the transition from VHF to UHF did not happen between analog and digital. It happened between black & while and colour, in the late 60s. The first 20 channels are VHF and were used for the old 405 line. The upper channels are UHF and support 625 line colour and today 1080 line HD colour.

@@ccijtechub UK 405 last ne black and white was in the 50 to 55mhz VHF band. From the 1970s on 625 line from 480 to 850 mhz Now Digital HD TV on that same UHF band.

This is absolutely rubbish. I know, inverter design is my job. When the inverter is not active while connected to the mains, its transformer is used as battery charger.

I design and construct inverters too, from modified sine wave to pure sine wave. H-Brigde, push pull etc. That and inverter is not on does not mean it's not active. Transformer based inverters are rugged but they are relatively inefficient compared to transformerless inverters. Qoute me anywhere, what happens if you don't have power for two weeks and there are no solar panels connected to the transformer based system and the transformerless system. If you are using a lead acid battery, please recharge using external charge for a lengthy period then reconnect the inverter to charge it. Please subscribe to our channel
