Great songs, great performing. Tragically Hip transcend simple, obliterate pop.

Wish I'd found this band before Gord passed. They're one of my top 5 favorite bands now. All amazing musicians.

I remember watching this while wrapping presents for my son on Christmas Eve. We had just found out that we were probably going to lose our unborn daughter and this helped my get through the evening. Well this and bourbon. Still miss ya Gord.

Raised in Toronto until I was 10. Moved to Detroit in 1967 during the riots. So glad i got to see the Hip at DTE formerly known as Pine Knob, probably around 2005? They have been my favorite band for a long time. ❤

I was at this concert. I'm not Canadian, lived in Colorado all of my life, except for almost 1.5 years in Stillwater, MN during 2000-2001. Got turned on to The Hip by the next-door neighbor Dennis while in Minnesota. He was my beer drinking buddy, and he loved The Hip. Moved back home to Colorado in 2002, and I'm glad I was able to be at this concert. RIP Gord Downie.
