Miri, great video! Yes, I think we all are on makeup fatigue. I know that I am. I've really looked hard at my collection and I don't use about 75 percent of it. So great video again...🎉

I am not buying liquid eyeshadow. I never use it no matter how good the formula is. I am not buying any single eyeshadows. I just don’t use them. I have some very beautiful shades and I just forget they even exist. I may try moving them to a different drawer to see if I use them more. It’s ridiculous to buy even one more when I never use the ones I already have. I want to say I will buy no more lipstick because I have so much and so many formulas. I could do just about any shade on the planet…but I know that’s a lie. I will totally buy a lipsticks or two in 2025. But…I am doing a “one in/one out” policy. I am not making more room in my drawers for more lipstick!

I've firmly decided that I'm only going to buy what I will absolutely, positively use and use often. Made that decision after getting severely burned on the Beautylish Lucky Bag this year. My Ipsy bag sub is paid for the next eight months, so that's going to have to satisfy my itch for new product.

12:17 "That fairy looking primer..." Maybe the Becca First Light Primer that was iridescent purple? I mean, Becca is long gone now, so that would explain why no one talks about it anymore. I have a feeling a LOT of us will be rediscovering old favorites in our collections throughout this year. I really hope some of the brands that used to be awesome get back to their roots and bring some products that recapture the originality of popular makeup. :::Urban Decay, Anastasia, I'm looking at you. 👀:::

I think we're in an age, especially as it pertains to makeup enthusiasts, where pretty much every product that comes out is a solid "good". People who have very limited budgets or are very new to collecting still have room to curate an improved collection, but everyone who has been in the makeup space regularly trying and adding products the last few years probably has a dependable set of things they could use. That plus price hikes due to inflation are why I think we're really seeing a societal push towards thoughtful consumption rather than overconsumption. I know my collection has a lot of hits for me, so the prices really have me questioning every purchase like, "Do I >>>really<<< need to add this to what I have?" It'll be interesting to see how the beauty industry navigates this. I'm basically on a No-Buy. If I use something up, I can repurchase a replacement, and I'm still putting things on a wishlist for anyone among my family or friends who wants gift ideas for me. However, if they don't get anything on that list (which would totally be fine because they aren't obligated to, they just sometimes ask), I'll just assess at the end of the year if it's something I still want enough to purchase myself (if it's even available). I'll still be watching makeup videos, though! Regardless of whether I'm actively shopping.

Hi. Love your content but finding it really hard to watch. Can't understand why you (what we'd call in England) "huff" during every other sentence. You take random mid-sentance pauses to breathe out in this exasperated way, as though the formation of the sentence is annoying you and I can't help but to empathise with you. So I can't watch without feeling frustrated and exasperated because that's how you translate on camera. It's like making the video is a chore for you but if so, why do it? Is somebody making you?

I have been buying Glaminatrix since their first hand pressed palettes. Their formulas are elite. Their mattes are so blendable and their shimmers are divine. I haven’t tried the blushes, but it’s so beautiful on you, I want it! It’s such a beautiful mocha shade!! I’m definitely getting it the next time I place an order. I hope they get a US distributor soon. It takes so long to get orders here!

Thanks for the review. I was debating whether to order this or not and I think I might swerve on this occasion but I can see how useful it would be to cover minor imperfections and even out skin tone esp if you already have great skin.

Lisa Eldridge is a absolute icon and this is definitely her repertoire but I'm not crazy for this kind of packaging. Same with Jones road. Worst part is I bet they are both outstanding formulas. But this style does not work for me. 🤞🤞maybe in future she offer a larger pen for better application Or a pot version aswell. Do you remember Laura Mercier secret camouflage? Something like that. I have larger hyperpigmentation dark spots. Nars soft matte is my current number one. But if this product was in store I'd definitely look into more so that's another factor. I'd loveeee to try her skin tint but again for the price I'd like to see colors in a store.

I bought a bunch of Makeup Geek when everything went on sale. I need to pull out those singles. I also never hear anyone talk about Rose Inc and their cream blushes. I still have a few and should use them more. KZbin and Instagram went crazy over those Heliotrope and Foxglove blushes! 😄
