Great reaction I enjoyed it thoroughly. Many of us became hooked on the Warning with their two Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. For further reactions, I would also use the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert. It was professionally recorded so the audio and video were phenomenal. There are many of their best songs in that concert. And more currently some new ones from their coming 4th album in June. Excellent reaction to The Warning Andrea! The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". Btw, "Disciple" is my favorite track! They released their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. 7 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", "AUTOMATIC SUN", "BURNOUT", and "SIX FEET DEEP". The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #57 original songs. Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many. Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 3 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy. I am going to see them October 8th in Pomona, California and again October 9th, 2024 VIP M&G at The Bellwether in downtown Los Angeles. They played on Jimmy Kimmel on June 27th, 2024 and the following morning, I got to meet them as they signed my copy of their new album KEEP ME FED at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach, California; the day of it's official release. Last September, they played 2 songs at the MTV VMA's. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. They gained notoriety when they posted a cover of Enter Sandman on KZbin which went viral. (again, Pau was 12 years old at the time and already played it as good a Lars). They were since invited by Metallica to do a complete remake of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara, for the 30th Anniversary of the Black Album, 'The Blacklist Album'. The only rule was 'Don't change the lyrics'. They rearranged, recorded and mastered the new version in just over a week, working remotely with Alessia in Canada, and The Warning in Mexico due to the pandemic. It is the first song on the album. Dany is a PRS Ambassador Pau is sponsored by DW and Sabian, and won Drumeo Rock Drummer of the Year, 2023 Ale became a Spector Signature Artist when she was about 16. They signed with Lava Records (Republic) in 2020, and have since produced one EP and two albums with the latest, 'Keep Me Fed' being released on June 28, 2024, They toured with Band-Maid earlier this year when they did the 'Show Them' collaboration together in Japan. They've opened for 3 Days Grace, Foo Fighters, Halestorm, Muse, Guns & Roses, and have played multiple festivals. They have about 30 shows planned through the rest of 2024, including a headline US Tour, supporting Halestorm in Canada (and maybe some headlines there as well?) Their superpower is LIVE. The concert from 2022 at Teatro Metropolitan is considered their 'gold standard' concert. Every song is amazing and the mix comes directly out of the equipment so the sound is spot-on with very little crowd noise.

Great reaction! Disciple was their opening song. People who attended the concert have reported at times you couldn't hear the band the crowd was so loud, and The Warning play loud. Another odd item is a lot of those phones weren't recording. They had the flashlight enabled to show support, like lighters from the old days (except you can bounce around a lot more with the phone light). There are some slower songs from this concert where a massive portion of the audience had them on. Just waving back and forth. ❤️⚡🤘

7:28 not always. In the song "Dust to Dust", Pau sings the main lead, but Dany has a really great screaming part.

You’ll love reacting to the full concert (song by song, obviously) they did at the Teatro Metropolitán CDMX the year before. Especially since you also understand Spanish - there’s a raucous rendition of their first Spanish song Narcisista, with Pau leaving her kit to one of her mentors, Beto Ramos, to take the role of front woman, all 5 ft of dynamite stick that she is, on heels and in a skirt. You might like to watch on your own time their vlog on their collaboration with Band-Maid - or even react to it, since it gives some perspective on the personalities of both bands, and on the heartwarming and exemplary spirit in which they did this collaboration. It’s on TW’s channel, and a new favourite video of both Warning Army and Maidiacs, because it’s such great fun to watch them doing their best to communicate with one another basically by exaggerating their mimic and gestures. It’s almost theatrical, even when they just talk to one another.

At the time of those performances their ages were, Dany 23, Pau 21 & Ale 18 and now they are 24, 22 and 19. Also regarding all the phones for Disciple, it is to be noted that this is the opening song, so may explain why everyone wanted to take a quick video.

It's your channel, Andrea, call them by their shortened names or their full names, either way. A damn fine reaction, too. TWA hopes to see many more, if you like. Ale doesn't like to sing lead, so she mainly sings low harmony, and Dany and Pau sing lead and/or high harmony. The two do switch parts, but I'd say the lion's share of leads go to Dany. Pau can really tug at your heartstrings when she sings, though. Like on Breathe, or Revenant, or when she did a cover of Radiohead's Creep. Haunting to say the least. I think you'd like Martirio as a reaction, but again, your call; no pressure. the Warning Army is incoming...You've been Warned.

That was Pau’s ‘Scream of Destruction’. She often engages the crowd to take part in concerts. You should see her take command of thousands! Young Ale would be 18 or 19 years old in this performance. She can sing lead too. Affectionately called ‘Thunder Goddess’ by fans, her baseline compared to the roar of locomotive engines! You should check out Narcisista, a song Pau wrote in response to The Warning being branded cultural traitors by some critics in Mexico for singing in English. In the performance in Discipline you witnessed something unique to TW’s fans. They know the lyrics to every song and will sing with the band. What you were not able to hear was the crowd roared back, “disciple in the making!” Non-English fans around the world will sing with them in English. And non-Spanish fans will sing the Spanish songs. Dany will yell to the crowd in Spanish or English, “Sing it back to me!!!”

since you speak English and Spanish it would be great if you listened to some of their songs in Spanish and give us your feeling on the lyrics in Enlish, translations somethimes miss context. Try Mariirio, Narcisista or Que Mas Queros, they have over 50 songs in English and I love the lyrics, I have seen translations of the Spanish songs but we all interpret what lyrics mean differently and it would be fun to hear your analysis.

Dany is the main vocalist but they all sing. There are several songs where Pau sings lead and a few where they do duets. Ale sings backing vocals but will sing lead on a couple of songs if Dany is sick. She doesn't like to sing lead. And yes, enjoy the moment. Maybe a couple of pics but put the phone down.
