We've machined down a Garrett shaft to fit BW's CHRA. Or alternatively transplant BW comp wheel and housings to a Garrett core and machine everything to fit. So do able.

@@MINIPOTHOLES I don't know how good or bad your chra is. On the efr9274, Lets say if we are making a new turbine wheel that fits then profile and machine your housing to suit the new wheel or grind the new wheel to suit the old housing, u will be looking at $1300AUD. if the chra is not useable, and we are building a custom BB CHRA using EFR comp wheel and housings for a transplant, you will be looking at $2000AUD.

because most Garrett's bearing packs are usually oiled when sold. When bearings are dry they spin freely. 2ndly we used cageless bearings in this build, so there are less friction compare to Garrett's caged bearing assemblies.

The original turbine side is all broken. Comp wheel has been installed into a one of our in house built BB Chra, that we modified the turbine housing to suit. So Its not running original EFR bearings assembly. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHvOnmqLo7yhrJY
