I don't think so, not seeing a Pembroke Hall on the Map for St. Mary. However the river is 14 Mile long so you never know.

Man, what you did was nothing short of heroic. I can't even imagine how intense that must have been. I’m really sorry about your shoulder-hoping it heals up quickly. You put yourself on the line to save someone, and that speaks volumes about the kind of person you are. Take it easy and give yourself time to recover-you deserve it!

Seems you are moving your arms around without problem there in the car. Was the dislocated shoulder healed there?
@NatureAdventureja21 күн бұрын
Great question! I explained it briefly in the video, but here's a deeper look. I dislocated my shoulder, meaning the head of my humerus (the upper arm bone) was forced out of the glenoid cavity (the socket in the shoulder blade). It took over 3 hours before the joint could be repositioned, which put a lot of strain on the surrounding ligaments and muscles. Because of this, I’m now experiencing limited mobility as the area heals. I’m currently in a rest phase for about two weeks, and then I’ll begin 4-6 weeks of physiotherapy at the end of September to regain full functionality. The pain from the dislocation was at a level 9 or 10 after three hours out of the socket, and even the smallest millimeter of movement was agonizing, despite being on several pain meds, both swallowed and injected. The Orthopedic Surgeon I saw said Luckily, because I regularly exercised (2-3 times per week), I had a lot of muscle around my shoulder joint, which has helped me retain some mobility. Most people without that muscle mass would have far less movement and would essentially have to start from scratch to build up strength, and would not be able to move at all. This is perhaps why you are surprised by my level of moment. At the moment, I use a sling to relieve pressure from my shoulder, and it mostly reminds me not to use my right hand (my dominant hand), which is crucial because every time I forget and try to do something with it-like brushing my teeth, tying my shoes, putting on a seatbelt, eating with a fork, or reaching behind me, it will cause some intense pain. I also can’t fold my right arm, and I’m unable to lift anything heavier than 1 lb The recovery isn’t easy, but I'm in a fa better position than most, and I take great comfort in knowing that Adira is safe and not experiencing any physical harm. I encourage everyone to be careful, and learn how to swim so you can avoid being in a similar situation.
@Stonygut186521 күн бұрын
@NatureAdventureja Thanks for the detailed explanation. I was hoping that with the fluid mobility of the arm that I observed in the car the injury was partially or fully healed. You have a goodly deed in saving the young lady's life. For this, she should be eternally grateful. The outcome would have been different if I found myself in a similar situation because I can barely swim to save myself. I wish you a speedy recovery!

Where did you park? Is the parking area safe ?
@NatureAdventureja22 күн бұрын
The parking is pretty safe, as it's in the community with houses on both sides. There are even community members that will watch your car for less than the cost of getting into the river.

Thank you all for the well wishes🙏🏿. I’m recovering well and Adira is doing just fine. I wanted to remind my fellow adventurers-learning how to swim is a life-saving skill 🏊♂️ that can not only save your life but also enhance your experience in the water! 🌊 It’s as important as driving 🚗, and everyone, no matter their age, should learn it. Please Stay safe on your next adventure; water can be unpredictable, but with the right precautions, we can all have fun and stay safe! 😊 For swim lessons, check out *Above and Below* at (876) 409-3236 or on Instagram: [Above and Below](instagram.com/above_and_belowab?igsh=ZGtta2hoMXpzZnBz)
