I've never done Wiz PvP before, but is it possible to take a screenshot of your sidedeck beore each match to know how much of each card you're packing, or it that considered unethical?

The devs are so slow to balance pvp. It's what made me lost fate in them and quit. I quit during the time when people would run jade sets, revive spell, and bad juju spam. The match would last 2 hours minimum. Those players would hope for you to flee and gain free win or have you ran out of cards.

1st point I really agree, it is something I always wanted, back in 2020 when I used an office computer from walmart for wiz it really took a toll on me how slow it was and people just instaclick. 2nd point, I suggest they should just give everyone 100% pip conserve and take out the stat so u can run any wand, deck, etc.

I do agree with most of your takes Potatoe! You have a lot of a passion for the game as a gamecard nerd! To be honest any changes would be better than what KI is currently doing

Here are my hot takes: 1) Revert the nerf on various spells outside of pvp; for example mystic colossus is worse than orthrus. They would still be their nerfed version in pvp, similar to how scion spells have pvp and non-pvp versions. 2) They should do something about "split-aoe" spells that split dmg, i.e. mirage spells like lamassu or iron sultan or bottom path of several aoe. Why would anyone in their right mind use them on any amount of targets except 1? Instead of 50, 33 and 25% split it should be something gradual like 75, 66 and 50%, numbers are to be discussed further. 3) Ban set effects from the arena as well as stat boosting mounts. It would just level the playing field. 4) Tc cap should be 999 per a card type, i.e. 999 tower shields and 999 weakness, instead of 999 total, combination of both.

Removing roshambo is literally the only thing I want. imo yugioh does card games rights I’ll be it with some downsides the hand traps are nice and being able to react to something someone does but idk it’s kinda a hard comparison to wiz but it’s generally a good feature to cancel an attack or something or maybe a way to make an enemy’s hit hit them instead like magic cylinders

also i havent been on wiz lately, did they add new rewards to tournaments? like is it worth doing again or is it still dead

lowkey wish they added a seperate gamemode that had old pvp. no banned gear, no banned spells, no stat caps no roshambos and the other stuff. imo it would bring a lot of people to do pvp just for that gamemode and yea, it doesnt have to give any rewards but just for the fun of yk nostalgia, i personally would like to see a gamemode like that in the game. they also could add that gamemode in tourneys since tourneys are basically useless atm
