Professor Mendelhall asked some great questions that Dr. Eastman completely ignored. On Jan.6th, Dr. Eastman told a crowd of a half a million people that he saw fraud in "secret folders." That was a lie. After all this time, it is still not a blip on Eastman's conscience, so, that tells me everything I need to know about his honesty. Also, there is no such thing as a "pause" during the counting of the Electoral votes.

Americans need to be honest with themselves and admit a greater intellectual curiosity is required to get to the bottom of the last election. Our Constitutional Republic depends on it. At the very least, fix the apparatus and voting methods to ensure election integrity!

Outstanding episode. The state of journalism in America is a disgrace, yet I am preaching to the choir.

Even though I am a Georgia boy I would like to write for Bryan. He might enjoy some Lewis Grizzard humor. Lewis was a conservative Christian, but there were no sacred cows. He mocked Trump the reality talk show host and Biden the plagiarist - all before Lewis left us for Heaven in 1994.

Disney has been pushing before Chapek. It was Bob Iger who started pushing Disney years ago. Chapek stepped into what Iger started then had to bear the backlash.

Samuel Gregg's comments on the EU and immigration are quite good. His views on free trade are ideological even though he explicitly denies that. 'Ideology' is the belief that if we do such and such, then everything will be hunky dory. Another term for ideology is fantasy. If we want high wages, then we have to pay high prices. If we don't have high wages, then we don't have a middle class. Those are real trade-offs that Mr. Gregg does not address. America has always had higher wages than other nations throughout most of our history. That trend has changed since the early 1970's. There are a number of reasons for that change such as women entering the work force in large numbers and mass immigration, but the threat of outsourcing to low wage, Third World nations is a big factor in the decline of the middle class in America and in Europe. And, yes, it would be better to have business' owners and managers spend more in capital to replace some domestic workers with improved technology than to outsource their jobs to a foreign nation that is positioning itself to challenge the U.S. Many jobs that are taken from technological innovations are replaced domestically. While some jobs are replaced by expansion of exports, the export market in the U.S. is fairly small. Domestic improvements in capital formation and expansion benefits the workers in the U.S. by improving their working conditions for those who retain their jobs. Exporting their jobs simply destroys their jobs and makes less desirable jobs in terms of working conditions and wages more prevalent. We have to ask ourselves the question, is cheap labor really a comparative or absolute advantage or is it merely exploitation? Certainly, exploitation benefits consumers, but does it benefit domestic workers and the viability of preserving a middle class in America? I don't think so.
