The only point of this machine will be to not put a heavy one on some nice lawns to avoid ruts

Great video! What jig is that you are using with the angle grinder to get that nice 30° edge?

I operated a exmark e series for year. I bought a zs4000 this year. It handles well going down. Doesn't do well backing up hill.

Does the WD40 help to prevent the grass building up? I'd assume it does but I'm just wondering if it makes a noticable different or if it's worth it to spray everytime after cleaning. Thanks

Or he could mow the grass in a counter clockwise pattern rather than clockwise and land the clippings on the lawn in the first place.

First pass was shooting grass in, second was out. This was overgrown and would get extremely clumpy 2 passes pointing in. The cleanup takes 30 seconds

considering buying one. How well does it cut Longer 2”-4” grass up with the chute closed and hi lift blades? I don’t like the quality of cut with mulching blades vs hi lift.

With it closed you do have to go probably 15-20% slower

I did buy the Qwikchute a few months ago. -The Good-. Very durable and i like how the flap lifts completely up and out of the way of danger unlike other chutes. Keeping grass off areas, or just closing the chute for safety. -The Bad- Price of the product is absolutely way too ridiculous! When the chute is closed the grass clumps up way more than i anticipated, pretty much have to double triple cut. Not even tall grass. But i do understand it’s not a mulcher. The chute doesn’t seem to close 100% blowing debris all over the place in the air. The force of the mower’s discharge is way too strong to keep it closed. No instructions of installation. Which isn’t a problem to figure out, but says everything about a company and their product as a business owner. I installed the chute no problem, but still i called and requested installation instructions just for the fact. Its took 2-3 calls and 2-3 months before i even received the wrong instructions. Just that in its self is everything you need to know about why not to buy qwickchute. I WOULDNT recommend this product to anyone. DONT BUY!! I eventually made/created 4 other chutes for my other machines and they work way better and all 4 costed a fraction of the price. The grass clumps up less and the chute closes correctly, not blowing grass up in the air. Qwikchute is an overpriced piece of durable trash in my opinion. And have bozos operating the place.

Grinders cause heat which causes the metal to become soft. Always use a file. Blade lasts longer from not having to sharpen so often.
